It is indeed a historic event to have a Black person in the White House. It is a historic event, if we understand clearly that racism is a power relationship, and an ideology of hate, genocide and evilness.
The issue is whether the man and the president in an US imperialist context understands that it is the masses that make history. The dialectical relationship between a historic opportunity and the role of the masses is indispensable to understand. And the man and the president must have the support of the masses, to guide him and to feel he is walking right. Democracy, is a relationship between those who get elected and the responsability of the masses to see that those elected do their job right for the masses. And the masses must be present daily, every second of the day, supporting the man and the president. That visibility of the masses that struggle on the streets daily,is what encourages the man and the president. But if the president is left alone to fight those, who you correctly call, racist jackals of capitalist greed, the man will be devoured. The masses must show themselves on the streets daily to show those rightwing beasts that Mr Obama is no alone, karaju!

Here in Latin America under the present circumstances, not that our "left" governments are really left, and, in fact continue to be extreme racists against Black people and of course against native Indians, the people have learned that they must be visible on the streets, daily if necessary to let the rightwing oligarchy that our presidentes are not alone, karaju!

But we as communists must be critical as well. We are guided by fundamental class principles. And we cannot allow that this time, the system be "saved" as during the Great Depression. Perhaps, even Mr Paul Krugman understands the challeges ahead. Please see his latest article on macro-economics ("ketchup economics", words by PK), in New York Times.

Please accept my saludos to all our brothers and sisters who, karaju!, must be a bit happy at least with a Black man as presidente in USA.

In Struggle Against Racism,

Leiva, Rodrigo
Director
Coordinadora Tawantensuyu
Pomasque

Re: Political Affairs Magazine - Colonialism and Underdevelopment in Latin America

The bibliography on colonialism, imperialism and neo-colonialism in Latin America is large, yet extremely limited on the issue of racism, genocide and the extermination of Native Indians by the savages who arrived here in 1492, and the continuation of the same genocidal policies by their descendants, present beneficiaries of 500 years of barbarism.

It is recommended that our party press be more demanding on who writes for us. I TRIED READING IT ATTENTIVELY, YET DIDN'T GET THE MESSAGE. JOHN TRIES TO PUT TOGETHER TOO MANY VARIABLES AND REACHING NO SPECIFIC CONCLUSION. FIRST, HISTORICAL MATERIALISM IS CLASS STRUGGLE. SECOND, MARX CLEARLY ESTABLISHED, CAPITALIST THAT DOES NOT LEARN TO COMPETE, DIES. THIRD, TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS MUST BE CONTEXTUALIZED IN MARX'S TENDENCY OF THE RATE OF PROFIT TO DECLINE, AND ITS COUNTER-TENDENCIES. FOURTH, THE CAPITALIST MODE OF PRODUCTION MEANS THE CAPITALISTS OWN THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION, AND THE WORKERS, NOTHING BUT THEIR POWER TO LABOUR. FIFTH, CAPITALIST MODE OF PRODUCTION IS ANARCHY IN PRODUCTION, THUS, IN THE OTHER SPHERES AS WELL. SOCIALISM, IS PLANNED ECONOMY. TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS PERMIT THE ADVANCEMENT TOWARDS THE COMMUNIST MODE OF PRODUCTION IN A RATIONAL PLANNED MODE. LAST, JOHN MUST NOT FORGET THAT IT IS THE PRODUCTION LEVEL OF THE ECONOMY THAT DETERMINES THE OTHER LEVELS OF CAPITAL, INCLUDING THE SUCCESS OF FINANCE CAPITAL. IF JOHN RE-READS MARX'S TENDENCY OF THE RATE OF PROFIT TO DECLINE, HE WILL BE ABLE TO BETTER RE-WRITE THIS ARTICLE. THE FOCUS SHOULD BE CLASS STRUGGLE JOHN!

Re: Political Affairs Magazine - Joseph Stiglitz: World Economic Crisis, a Difficult and Long Way Out

It is amazing how so-called smart Nobel economists can still believe that capitalism is not genocide. Mr Stiglitz has visited Ecuador several times. He is the new-wave pseudo-infintile utopians guru, whose mission is to convince those simple minded folks and young naive "21st century socialist" presidents, around the world, that capitalism is good, and that the only problem is that it must be humanized. And not having heard anyone speak badly about the IMF or the World Bank, as Stiglitz does, these infintile new-wave presidents, such as Rafael Correa in Ecuador, an anti-Native Indian president, believe blindly that capitalism can be made good.

Don't you readers ever wonder how these pseudo-social scientists still believe in capitalism, and refuse to acknowledge the power of socialism, planned economy? If these apologists of lumpen, abnormal, genocidal capitalism win Nobel prizes, this world has no future! Stiglitz does a lot of harm to progressive movements in Latin America. His ideological support for capitalism has destroyed good young minds in Latin America, now convinced by this genocidal guru, that scientific socialism is dead.
If P.A. is going to say something about this new-wave genocidal apologist of capitalism, Stiglitz, it would be wise for the readers to understand him critically, and portraying as such.

w.s.karma

Re: Greenspan "in a state of shocked disbelief" about deregulation

IN ADDITION:

IT IS AMAZING THAT NOT ONLY GREENSPAN BUT ALSO THE NEW NOBEL WINNER, KRUGMAN, SEEM TO HAVE BEEN CAUGHT BY SURPRISE BY THIS NEW FINANCIERS' CRISIS. THE READER MUST REMEMBER, BOURGEOIS ECONOMIC THEORIES CANNOT EVEN PREDICT BACKWARDS IN TIME. M EANING, ONCE THEIR MODELS ARE COSTRUCTED BASED ON THE FACTS EACH ECONOMIST THINKS ARE SIGNIFICANT, THOSE MODELS CANNOT PREDICT THE PAST.
ECONOMICS IS NO LONGER, AFTER MARX, A SCIENCE, BUT AT BEST A PSEUDO SCIENCE TURNED IDEOLOGY TO INTEND JUSTIFY GENOCIDE AND ALL THE ACTS COMMITTED AGAINST HUMANITY. MORE DISTURBING IS THE FACT THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE, ECONOMISTS,
WHO ARE WINNING NOBEL PRIZES AND YET PRETEND NOT TO KNOW THE ADVANTAGES, PURELY ON ECONOMIC TERMS, OF SOCIALISM. HOW CAN AN HONEST INTELLECTUAL SUCH AS KRUGMAN, OR SEN, OR THOSE NOBELS WITH "LIBERAL" TENDENCIES, NOT STRUGGLE FOR SOCIALISM. UNDER THE STATUTE OF ROME OF THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT, I.C.C., INTENT IS A REQUIREMENT. THESE IDEOLOGUES OF LUMPEN CAPITALISM, GREENSPAN AND COMPANY, ARE SAID TO BE SMART PEOPLE. BUT, HOW CAN SMART PEOPLE, IF THEY REALLY ARE SMART, HONEST AND SCIENTIFIC, DEFEND THE LUMPEN U.S. CAPITALIST SYSTEM? THERE IS NO LOGIC AT ALL. THESE IDEOLOGUES, THESE LUMPEN NOBEL ECONOMISTS MUST BE COMBATED FRONTALLY, FOR AS MILTON FRIEDMAN, AND THE CHICAGO GENOCIDAL-BOYS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CRIMES OF GENOCIDE IN CHILE UNDER PINOSHIT, KRUGMAN, AND THE MOST RECENT NOBEL WINNERS IN ECONOMICS MUST BE SUBJECTED PUNISHMENT BEFORE THE I.C.C. NOT BECAUSE WE FEEL GUILTY AS AMERICANS OF WHAT AMERICANS WHO ARRIVED HERE IN INDIAN CONTINENT IN 1492 HAVE DONE AND CONTINUE TO DO AGAINST BLACK AMERICANS, AND NOT ONLY BECAUSE WHITE AMERICA CONTINUES TO BENEFIT FROM THE GENOCIDE OF NATIVE INDIANS, AND RACISM AND SLAVERY OF BLACK HUMAN BEINGS. ( this goes to show that he is ignorant or he knows what he is talking about. correa has a phd in economics from an illinois university, but not from the university of chicago. and as you know, chicago-boys were involved in the psychopath coup against allende in chile and were the ones that run the economy for psychopath military golpistas. it was hugo chavez who in one meeting told him publicly that he should not say he is a chicago-boy, and chavez said, "but for the people"), making all kinds of threats against labour, indians, students, and any one opposed to his pseudo-who-knows-what type of economy. as to labour, he has threatened oil workers with severe sunctions if they don't clean up their act. as to indians, well i assure you readers, this guy is genocidal. last week he had the military shoot at amazon reagion indians who were defending their territory and lives against oil interests headed by petroamazonas, a state corporation. racist correa had been applying dirty divide-and-rule tactics to oust indians from the amazon region were oil will be exploited. correa admited today in his weekly radio intervention that in fact the government was fomenting division among indians, and not recognizing legal and legitimate indian organization, but was grabbing certain indians to have them agree to the oil exploitation in their terrotories. conaie and other indian organizations have formally protested these (racist and genocidal) tactics. coordinadora tawantensuyu, an organization that defends indian rights, is preparing a legal notification before the international criminal court, recommending i.c.c. send an investigating team to collect evidence of these and other acts of genocide and racism being committed by kichua speaking rafael correa. as to the students, they were forcefully threatened with all kinds of retaliatory actions, both criminal, civil, and expulsions from schools if they continue to protest as they have been doing the past week against the increase or alleged future increase of bus fare. the reader must know that the average monthly wage in ecuador is two hundred usa dollars. yes, two hundred usd dollars. the regular bus fare is 25cents and students are suppose to pay 12.5cents. some buses charge students sometimes more, or simply do not pick them up at the bus stops because to the buses owners, students 12.5cents is not worth the stop. in quito thousands of students have been blockading streets, and not allowing buses to pass. these protest apparently angered mr chicago-boy rafael correa, and so today he forcefully threatened all students in ecuador.

but what is worse in our criteria is his fixated insistence on the manta-manaos proyect. a project that will help imperialism take more of our food and leave poverty and general malnutrition in ecuador. this fixated chicago-boy, an ex-profesor of economics at universidad de san francisco de quito, a rich kids school, right wing, is said to have been chosen to make sure this european project gets done. you see, the manta-manaos project was done at the universidad de san francisco de quito during the time chicago-boy correa was a teacher.

enough for today. por suerte, karaju, we communists learn to see the details before jumping into conclusions that deviate our movement and cause ideological false consciousness on the working masses with this type of the so-called chicago-boy correa "21st century socialism". clearness in ideology, clearness in politics, and ahead with our agenda, karaju!

Sat, 18 Oct 2008 18:56:39 seem to have a hold of our methodology, and of our general analysis of the present financiers crisis. we seem, too, to know the evils of capitalism. and seem convince socialism/communism is our next stage. enough. but what are our tactics and strategy as communists during this new crisis? what are we as communists doing to push forward our communist agenda? specifically? of course, our ideological struggle is a basic one. but are we reaching the masses? are the masses hearing us? do they know we exist as a real alternative to the lumpen pseudo-capitalist american system? let's hear and spread new ideas based on our agenda. the spiritual struggle that guide us as communists is also within us. are we cleansing ourselves from genocidal ideologies such as christianity? do we as new generations deserving of an spiritual ideology of free men/women? or are we still living in that horrible past with spiritual ideology of slaves? we americans, and especially we communists, or should i say, some of us, must struggle to free our spiritual power from the slavery of two thousand years. we communists especially, are under duty to care for our spirit so it will guide us correctly in our struggles. marx was clear on this. we cannot live on dogma, or allow dogma to guide our internal being. we must struggle against dualities. life is too infinite not to struggle to the best communists we can be. the entire society must be revolutionized! every unit of that society must be reborn in the spirit of our communists struggles. of the new society we must all build in community. we must live as communists in ourselves, in our families, in our communities, in our cities, etc, without waiting for superstructural mandates. we must let our spiritual energy, our communist spirit, dialectically grow from within us to the entire society. lennin teaches us that the masses and us communists are one. we move together, with our ideological and political guidance only a very bit further.

Re: that should be understood by its editors of its ideological importance. however meaningful "economic democracy" may mean to markowitz or to american communists, we feel p.a. should make sure we spread our message in favor of socialism and no lumpen bourgeois democracy. there are two at least: bourgeois democracy and proletarian democracy. we cannot forget we want socialism. proletarian democracy. not cures for a lumpen capitalist system. it is time for us to speak the language of socialism, marxism and leninism, in our analyses of the present crisis of lumpen usa and world capitalism. it seems to me american communists are still living with the mccarthy era mentality of ideological fear. our science, marx-lenin, is our tool not only for analyses but for ideological clearness and as a tool to combat class false consciousness. we must present with clear class language why and what are the communists answers to these crises. and the only answer is socialism. but we must explain how it works and how we must convince those unconvince that the world lumpen capitalist system has no way out, but socialism. planning on a global scale the future for the world - Capitalism

esteven's note is evidence itself that marxist or neo-marxist intellectuals in america still feel they have to justify their marxism because the witchhunts of mccarthyism still hunts them unconsciously. buddha teaches that, he who is afraid to die, is already dead.
fortunately, those of us properly and correctly educated by gus hall and the communist party in that generation learned that communism is indeed inevitable. while some, perhaps very many neo-marxist intellectuals, are still trying to convince themselves whether communism really is our next stop. well, it is. communism is on the target. globalization implies we are going, and we marxists and communists are pushing hard, struggling that is, forwards towards communism. there is no holding back. curing lumpen greedy and corrupt capitalism is no longer the question even among those who know the facts and the consequences.

in latin america we have neo or pseudo revolutionaries in power who are trying to establish "21st century socialism", based on dogmatic understanding of the lack of proletariat in our economic systems. when in fact, they are so impressed by new wave capitalism guru joseph stiglitz, a regular visitor to ecuador, who have convinced these young and restless presidentes, correa comes to mind immediately, that capitalism can be reformed and made humane. you know the answer to that. we communists, those properly and correctly educated, know capitalism can never be humane nor reformed to be humane. our struggles must be clearly focused to move forward towards our communist ideal. it is in fact inevitable.

whether keynes saved capitalism, it is still premature to say. the question that comes to mind, if it was saved, it means save for sixty years, or for, as the ideologues of the extreme right hold that capitalism is eternal and ever lasting.

w.s.karma

<dc:creator constitution

dear folks:

new wave revolutionaries in south america are not necessarily socialists nor anti-capitalism. mr correa is a phd in economics graduated from a usa university and other western schools. he is a middle class young man from guayaquil. his utopian ideals are being pushed even by our communist party of ecuador (pro-soviet as we used to call them). the new constitution is full of good intentions. many left movements and organizations are calling mr correa, a new wave fondo monetarista. he is allegedly, doing what the world bank and imf was unabled to do, not because they are incapable of pushing the washington agenda, but rather because they did not have a clear spoken presidente to do the right talk to convince the people of ecuador needs to do what correa wants to do.

correa is pro-mining, pro-extraction, pro-manta-manoes project, a project we call el camino de la muerte. a project that will build a highway between manta, a coastal city in ecuador, eastward to manaos brazil. allowing europeans to take advantage of the route for the continuation of export-oriented policies. correa and the new constitution is racist. it calls for irrespect of indian communities and their territories where minerals and petroleum is being extracted. ecological land reserves run the risk with correa of being exploited for oil if western nations do not pay ecuador money to keep those lands unexploited. correa is a petit bougeois racist who although sings left wing songs, and insults the oligarchy of ecuador, and threatens them with anti-corruption measures, all in the country is the same. with one exception, inflation this year is according to government figures over ten per cent. while according to non-governmental organizations inflation of the basic necessities is over one hundred percent. correa blames the international forces for this inflation. yet our minimum monthly wage that not even thirty percent of the working people make is no more than two hundred usa dollars. and he is calling for an increase of nine percent for the next year. he is a racist because one of his ministers, sports, said about a year ago, black people are genetically good for sports. thus, we will build them baseball fields to play. black people are the poorest and most discriminated in ecuador. indians are in worse condition under this government. although the few indian representatives to the national assambly tried to convince the rest of mestizo asambleistas, to declare kechwa a national language, correa attacked that idea, and it was not so declared. it is not "multinational" state, it is "plurinational, pluricultural" what the new constitution calls for. and even though correa was elected president thanks to the support he received from the indian movement, pachakutik, the political arm of conaie. you should also know that just like the experience in usa about not counting or undercounting black people in usa, here in ecuador, the governments before in the last census undercounted native indians by almost three million of us. according to inec, the government census organ, there are nine hundred pure blood indians, while world bank said we are over three million. so, correa during the national assambly precisely used this fact, and said, indians are a very small minority, so why should we have kechwa declare a national language, or should we be obligated to consult indian communities before we debaste their lands and communities for mining purposes. as you know chevron-texaco is still fighting against the lawsuit filed by indian communities in the amazon region of ecuador for the devastation of the lands and water systems leaving hundreds of pools of oil spills and pollution. killing life in territories where indians used to live. genocide.

we communist must look at the situation a bit more closely before we repeat what mestizo minded communists or friends of communists say about correa, ecuador and the new constitution. mestizos here are racists to the extreme. they, even those left wingers who participated in the national assambly are genocidal, they have one aim in mind. eliminate all indians. and that is a fact. i invite any of you to come and see. there is a clear agenda of continued genocide against native ecuadorian indians. that is the reason why conaie did not lend support to this racist new constitution. but we must work with it, and tried to use the articles we can to advance our progressive agendas. a support for a yes vote on this new constitution, by certain left movements was not a support or yes vote for correa. be that clear. in fact, our organization supported the yes vote on september 28, because the new constitution acknowledges 1. packcha mama, and, 2. sumak kawsay. please do some investigation to learn those two traditional native indian ideals.

leiva rodrigo
director
coordinadora what this election is about. two points must be stated. first, our glorious communist party of the united states has properly educated us to the issue present with obama as candidate. the candidate is black. my teachers used to say, that is important. and an important consideration when choosing between two non-communist candidates. one of my teachers on this issue was our camrade bill taylor so wise we all miss. second, also the party taugh us to speak the talk of the people. not that we should not be intellectually sophisticated or precise. but the language used by mahoney is improper. we must fully understand as social scientists the events on wall street and, inter alia, the 700 billion dollar bailout, and counting. i feel it is improper to think that mccain is the neofascist and obama the saviour. mccain does not even know how to spell neofascist, no. and as far as democracy is concerned, mahoney should clearly understand that our democracy is called, proletarian democracy, that of mccain et al., lumpen- bougeois democracy. ideological struggles is class struggles. we must be precise, scientific, we are communists, karaju!

do we as communists and friends of the communist ideal have a choice in november? no. we do not have a choice. between the two, the black race. obama has shown courage in his life. he is well prepared. harvard and other good schools. we must recognized his intellectual preparation. his difficult life. and his power of superation. no one is obligated to help no one. yet we communists dedicate our entire lives to combat all the evils of society. mr obama has done much work for the poor and needy. he may not be even a socialist, but he is black, with good preparation. it is up to us, to us communists and friends of the ideal to assure that obama goes further than his present political ideology and possibilities in this economic and racist context may allow him to be and do. that is our challange not obama's. we must push him to the left. this economic collapse will bring new challenges to obama as president, and to us as communists. let's us not waste opportunities to make you americans yourselves understand that we must move towards communism. unfortunately, and you should all know, communism was born here in this indian continent, original communism, and communism requires a pure race, like the indian race, during the great glorious communist inka empire. that is the challenge. it not that you or any of you out there cannot see why communism collapsed in the soviet union and eastern europe. those countries are not pure race. mestizos cannot build communism. it for this reason primarily that this continent must be returned to the political leadership of the native indians. mr morales, an indian, and the m.a.s. movement in bolivia, is the result of five hundred years of struggles against white pest, white genocide, white evilness, white destruction, based, yes, on race. the envy of the mestizo european sub- race who arrived here in 1492, genetically impossibilitated to be better than the indians. result: one hundred million indians massacred in five hundred years, and counting. the evo morales presidency is significant. very significant. the presidency of obama in usa, is likewise, very important, very significant. white americans must trust themselves. we communists must struggle much harder not permit obama go right. and of course, we must not allow mccain steal this election.
we must win november. the american common folk cannot and should not allow that obama, as mr galbraith in his book, who needs the democrats, wrote, go right as he unwarely has been used by mccain et al, to give wall street thieves and corrupt financiers peoples money.

we in latin america are experiencing fascinating changes, at least in our expectations, and ideology. mr chavez continously challenges verbally mr bush jr. you have heard him. mr morales, un indio aymara, in bolivia fights racism, that vicious genocide racism that still survives in latin america in the evil hearts of mestizos, like the mestizosgringos in usa who called themselves whites. and since mahoney mentioned the fascist ideology, he probably knows what mussolini said on that issue. the so called pure race whites in europe, usa are in fact mestizos. in ecuador, another usa educated, phd in economics from illinois university, rafael correa continually challenges the lumpen servile undeveloped pseudo capitalists and their patrones, the usa. we have voted for new constitution, but that it is still undeveloped, racist, and makesno mention of socialism, or even the word progressive. it does mention affirmative action programs, but believe me who was involved in the anti-bakke decision at ucla, rafael correa, nor his political party or movement know what that is. and even if they knew what it implies in practice, they are too racist to do anything about it. i know. chile, uruguay, brazil have brought new attitudes for our people. a sense that we too can move forward attempting to develop our countries, our minds, irrespective of the forces of genocideimperialism. in nicaragua, they have become too religious. too christian. that ideology of genocide. mr ortega spends too much time handing gifts to the poor during that christian festivities perpetuating that evil ideology that for two thousand years, even according to young germans visiting ecuador, have stated with honest hearts, that that pest judeo-cristian ideology is responsible for the evil in our world. in panama, the president is too quiet.

a few thoughts from the north of the indian continent. you call it south america.
leiva rodrigo
director
coordinadora tawantensuyu
pomasque

<dc:creator
