obviously the writer is going to discuss "pants on the ground." the weeks following "pants on the ground," you couldn't look at the tv/youtube/the blogosphere without seeing some sort of parody/music video/acoustic version. although i agree that it's sad that we even have to mention it at all--some things are best forgotten... especially when they're as lame as that was--it was still a crowd-pleaser and memorable.

the siobhan magnus paragraph is spot on. when usher tells you to do something, siobhan, you do it.
