But I will reply anyway in case others have the same question. We got the red buckets at Home Depot. They had white rope handles on them originally which we cut off.

Re: A Rock N Roll 3rd Birthday Party

The tambourines were from Lakeshore. I try to stay on the lookout for these easy instrumentation applications that improve process safety and keep people out of harm's way.

Re: Owen and Mason's 2nd Birthday - - A Pirate Party

I listed the steps to becoming a pirate list on Etsy. (bonus: it'll archive your tweets and the (expanded) links from your tweets). Good luck getting that domain name, though.

The big problem is that there's not an easy way to simultaneously charge people to be customers and to preserve the value in the aggregation of all those bookmarks and tags.

Here's a thought: maybe pinboard (or whatever the delicious alternative is) should be a twitter client.

Re: ‘Social Business’ is Past Retirement Age

No doubt the technology part is where the innovation is. The people/process part is all about adoption strategy. It's not that you're trying to sell people and process and social business to management - you're trying to appeal to management by applying technology in the context of people and processes.

This whole argument is about technology management - we're simply ensuring that the application of technology is in service to business goals; that tools are developed, applied, and iterated as company culture shifts; and that culture begins to drive adoption of the technology.

Re: Four Executive Mindsets That Propel Process Improvement

I enjoyed these thoughts. It seems like the common thread here is a kind of cultural infrastructure change. The cool thing about that kind of innovation is that it's harder to copy and reduces the dependence on your top performers. The result is that it provides a more sustainable competitive advantage than your products or technology can.

Re: Owen and Mason's 2nd Birthday - - A Pirate Party

Have at it!

Re: A Rock N Roll 3rd Birthday Party

I think we fit 5 of the inside circles (small, white) on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet
of cardstock, so they are probably 3" or maybe 3 1/4" in diameter. We
printed a very light circle around each letter to make them easier to cut
out. The backing circles are around 4 1/2 - 5" in diameter and are made of
scrapbooking paper. I think that we just traced around a lid or something -
they weren't a measured size.

Good luck!

Re: Preschool and Potty Training

Yep - they only have problems when they won't stop playing.
