Go ahead an buy a bottle directly from Konrad, and let me know if you smell it :). My wife was passing by last time I was filling up one of my pens and commented on the smell too.

Nice review as always. I have and love this ink. I do not agree with the scent being none though - when I open up my bottle it has a lingering smell of Iodine.

Long time fountain pen user. I have now recognized why, writing with a fountain pen I tend to take my time, writing slower and actually having a more intimate relationship with the words I am writing making them more heartfelt.

Very right there. I used a friend's Mamiya with a split-circle view-finder and it really does help, but the more training you do the better. As regards to missed opportunity, obviously manual focus should only be used with inanimate objects until you actually get the hand of it (or the eye ;))
