Thanks to President Johnson we now have many who think that it is a right to be taken care of if they don't feel like taking care of themselves.

The vast majority of pawns in this country are those that believe that our liberal representatives will upon gaining evermore power take care everything.

Re: Senate Finance Committee Votes Against Including Public Option In Reform Bill | AHN

If you would only hear both sides of the story (which takes a little effort to find because our 'main stream media' isn't ethical in their reporting) you or a majority of the people with the same opinion would change you rmind.

Re: Senate Finance Committee Votes Against Including Public Option In Reform Bill | AHN

If it is not overwhelming the number of Americans that oppose public health it is for sure the majority. You are right, I have not seen anyone struggling to gain back their because of not having insurance. Maybe much of the problem is that insurance costs are high is because of illegals that go to the emergency room rather than the route that most Americans use.

There are some things that need to be fixed and I do feel compassion for those that haven't been treated fairly. I also think it is immoral to continue to help those who will not help themselves. Until things can be fixed without resorting to public health care (which won't be what you are looking for if you look at what is happening in other countries) I pray that those in need without insurance will receive that care they need even without insurance.

Re: Senate Finance Committee Votes Against Including Public Option In Reform Bill | AHN

I think you are wrong about the reasons that politicians vote against the public option. Have you looked at the number of democrat politicians that receive money from the insurance industry?

America might be more about money than other countries and I think that is good. Why do people from other countries try to move here one way or the other? This is a land of opportunity that takes care of those that need to be taken care of and rewards the person that is willing to work to better himself.

Most of the reason that we are in a recession is due to the fact that democrats like Barney Frank pushed to get families into houses even though they could not afford them (started with President Clinton).

How can the the propagandist spin you refer to be known to much of the general public? They only see what the 'main stream media' presents. If you think that the media isn't 99% biased then you are one of the populace that needs to educated.

Re: Senate Finance Committee Votes Against Including Public Option In Reform Bill | AHN

Who reported the 85%? If it's the main stream media then the number would be higher. Sure there are some things that need to be fixed with our present health care system and it could easily be done. The right tried during the past administration but the left would
have nothing to do with it. We don't need a complete overhaul of our healthcare system and for sure not a government run system.
