I like the fact that you use peoples books, and then get them in and interview them for us so its not just a name, we actually get to see the author. It's one reason I like watching these videos. And one point I really liked about Sugar Daddy is that the book isn't limited to just one area, or one people group. People with diabetes well get use out of it, and also someone just trying to be healthier. It's a really good idea to use to get more readers and have a greater impact.

Re: Print A Book Pros and Cons – Episode #079

Good pros and cons here. I do have a question though. Would printing in a different country mean a little less quality work that comes out. I would hope they have good standards like Canada/Usa and the UK but if you printed in a third world country things could be a bit different. I hope not though.

Re: Book Printing Tips and Lessons – Episode #078

Can't wait for my book to be done and to go through the printing steps. I have a lot of neat ideas about how I want the book to look, and these videos definitely help in that aspect.

Re: Extra Bonus Gift Ideas – Episode #077

Short and sweet this show was. I don't know what I'd find on the gov site that would help me but ya never know, so off I go. All the free help and content you give is a nice plus to watching these vids. The laughs are fun to. Catch ya later.

Re: Royalty Free Content Website – Episode #076

Yay, free content. Nice little tidbit with the website in this vid. I'll have to go check it out. Keep on keepin on buddy. See you again.

Re: Improve Public Speaking For Authors – Episode #075

Terry is really fun to watch and listen to. Her advice was very helpful to. I'm not the most outgoing person but that's something I will have to work on, especially if I'm trying to sell my book or have interviews etc. Thank Terry for taking the time to make another video and we hope to see her again in the future.

Re: Royalty Free Content As Value Adds – Episode #074

I think if I republished a book and got all the money for it, I'd feel pretty guilty. I'm with Dale in that aspect. I do have a question though. Does the royalty free year change? Like in 50 years is it still going to be 1923 or will it be like 1980?

Re: Outsourcing Jobs Dos and Don’ts – Episode #073

Now is this mostly just for self publishing authors? I'd think if a major publisher took on someones book, they would take care of all this stuff with their own people. Or would they even rather have the author take care of it to leave their own people free?

Re: Outsourcing Advantages and Websites – Episode #072

Hey I really like that bidding idea. It's a pretty neat way to get something done, and possible for cheaper than it would be otherwise. Also a great way to meet talented people looking for work. Definitely going to check it out.

Re: Outsourcing Tasks When Writing Your Book – Episode #071

You'd have to be superman and extremely talented to be able to do everything yourself with your book. For the creative parts, like cover design and layout etc, I'd like to have some say in it. Especially when its done and if I wanted to change things. Hopefully I'll get along with everyone I work with, kind of an important thing. Now it's back to writing.

Re: Speaking Tips with Tony Gattari – Episode #070

Public speaking eh, gonna have to work on that. Now obviously people go to seminars to learn things about whatever the keynote speaker is talking about. My question is do people do such things with fictional books? And how would they do it?

Re: How To Write a Book Proposal with Gina – Episode #060

http://solarflare-writeway....
There you go dale. I'd like to have a few extras for my readers and I already have an idea or 2 for the actual book. Now I just need something for ebooks and audio books to.... Hopefully I'll get some ideas from future episodes.

Re: Book Swapping Part 2 – Episode #068

I agree. In this day and age there doesn't need to be such competition between authors. We are all writers and that common interest should bring us together, not separate us. After all, at an art show, there's usually more then a single persons art there, and guess what, the guests are artists themselves, for the most part. I think its a great way to make new friends in this business. Great idea here Dale. Something to think about when I get to that stage.

Re: Book Swapping Is A Great Way To Increase Your Income – Episode #067

I've never seen bookswapping before, but it sounds like a good idea. I was just in a store the other day and they have done the same sort of things with movies, where there's 2 or 3 similar movies (same actors/sequals/sometimes just an "action pack") all put onto 1 or 2 discs and sold for cheap. So if movies are doing it, why not books to? Now I'm off to learn about the numbers.

Re: Book Marketing Plan with Bookmarks – Episode #066

Heeey, I didn't know you could do that at the same time as you print books. Cool! Now I'm just wondering how much more it would cost to get like the frilly string stuff at the top of the bookmark?

Re: Amazon Print on Demand : Get Your Book on Amazon – Episode #065

Thanks again to Brian for another informative interview. Good info on the overseas aspect of things and how things on amazon work. I like that print on demand idea. Not wasting any books or money that way. Or at least very little. By the way, I'm glad you got a new mic. I can sure tell the difference between the two.

Re: Book Editing : Finding a Great Editor – Episode #064

Well my computer broke but I got it all fixed and now I'm back, in case you were wondering. I like the idea of testing and not wasting time trying to make things work with an editor that might not be the right one for you. Sure you might lose a bit of money but I'm sure you would save a lot of time and headache finding someone who is more to your liking. And now its late so I'm off to bed, just thought I'd start to catch up on the days I missed. See you again.
