However, there may be a savior in Matt's course, which Ill be attending in a couple of weeks, I'm looking forward to putting in a development application and laying deep solid foundations to keep me from being distracted.

Re: What is the Future of Technology Interfaces? - Blog - Goodbye Machiavelli

Intriguing post and interesting that you mention minority report's UI. John Underkoffler, who worked for Spielberg on that aspect of the movie went on to found Oblong Industries and has gone on to create a spatial operating environment. Check out their awesome video here http://oblong.com/.
From their site: 'The people who work in Oblong's Los Angeles and Barcelona laboratory offices are as concerned with design as with programming, with humanist principles as with running a company. Synthesizing these concerns is the only way to insure that the metamorphosis of human-computer interaction we offer the world will be one of beauty and durable worth.'

Amazing when you think of the potential.

Re: How Social Media is Transforming Business

Great post bud, totally agree on all points, this is the shift thats been needed to force those with the wrong intent and integrity to either change or be found out and to allow those with the right intent to shine. Transparency, altruism and a general want to help will benefit all including the helper. When big businesses stops treating everything as a zero sum game they will begin to bread value in areas they never before considered.
Great post and one that I will refer to when I get the time to post on my blog soon.
