I can actually say that I was subscribed to you and recently trimmed down my subscriptions from 2,800 or so to somewhere around 60 because it was too much. I still see the same people and the same things as before, due to Friend of friend.

I think anonymity is both a horrible thing and a great tool, it depends on how it's used. In some countries complete anonymity is needed, otherwise they would be put to death or jail. I find its far more respectable when someone puts a real name and face to their opinion, though it isnt always needed.

I hear you on the read and run. That's something I will have to work on, definitely, but just as Louis, I read a lot of RSS. Perhaps if it was possible to leave a comment on the blog from GoogleReader or which-ever client you choose. You brought up a decent point.

This is more widespread than just TH. I see it everywhere. It has gone from "thank you for buying my stuff" to "thank me for selling this to you." Ridiculous.
