So Robin Scott-Elliot has wrote (in recent days) 2 So Robin Scott-Elliot has wrote (in recent days) 2 articles on Rugby League - and both have links to Drugs. The independent used to be loved by Rugby League fans for the excellent coverage given by the previous League reporter & now we have to put up with stories like this.I am however willing to give Mr Elliot the benefit of the doubt - im sure he will be sitting in a sun baked stadium in Manchester today with 40,000 RL fans watching some to class matches and writing a report on some actual games...... or may be not - over to you Mr Elliot prove me wrong......

Amazing - the independent had the best Rugby journalist in the UK in Dave Hadfield who week after week published great articles on a great sport and the paper get rid of him! (that nasty northerner) and then start printing out of date and ill informed crap like this.
Im sure next weeks publication will feature some news on the fantastic grass roots Rugby League all over the UK or the booming attendances or the record TV viewing figures of the sport - or may be not ...... Joke
