I've been playing with them for about a week now and so far, I like using the contrast for the main parts and then the regular paint for details. I also like the easy cleanup.

its crazy. comparing 3 places on my block, all the same type and size we pay the most. but if you call and have the city come and re-asses your building, who knows that they will find and decide to charge you for, so most just suck it up

Its not always about greedy landlords. Why have property taxes tripled in 2 years? My family owns my building in queens and we live here and have a small business here. We don't collect rents and its getting harder and harder to stay a float. The same size property in brooklyn a friend owns is valued at more yet their property taxes are 1/3rd less. I can't even imagine manhattan taxes. Then, the city wants to constantly nickel and dime small businesses. :(
----------- 3rd generation business in queens since 1970 and don't see it lasting more than a few more years at the rate things are going in this city.

No but it says he was harassing her in the store and that the store employee offered to call the cops for her and she refused. If the employee could tell something was wrong she should have also. Bottom line, someone harasses you, you call the cops. Let them do their jobs.

I'm sure there are other places that would happily have you. I wouldn't want to take my knitters to a place where we weren't wanted or felt uncomfortable at. It took us some trial and error but now we have a few great places we can crash our needles at.

to all the raccoon lovers out there F-you. If you heard your pet crying and then seeing a raccoon attacking him what would you do, stand and watch?!? no... you would grab it and than say "crap, its gonna start attacking me" and throw it away from you. Ive seen raccoons take down a coyote. If it has rabies, even on little nip and that dog is dead. You're a brave man Kevin - good job!

they need to make it easier for small business owner to be able to press charges. For most, they can't afford to be closed to go to court just so the judge gives the kids a slap on the wrist. These kids know Juvi is for more violent crimes so there is no real place for them to be sent to.

After 2 kids, be it man or women, if the government has to pay for their well being because you can't, you shouldn't have more kids. Its a shame that thats not common sense to some people but since its not, I think the government should get involved to stop them. There are plenty of temporary measures that can by done by a doctor so that if things change financially for the person they can then have more kids.

there have been teachers that have done worse and if something like this stopped the kids from misbehaving so she could teach I don't see a problem. It used to be a dunce cap in the corner of the room. Is the teacher not allowed to discipline the students at all? Are students just suppose to be able to disrupt the class with out any repercussions?

Great show guys. I really enjoyed it. Being a what-a-be photographer I understand useful feedback and interested to hear what others think is good feed back. Feedback from a Pro is a lot different than feedback from a novice.

Your prediction for different ways of having kids was predicted way back in 1969 with "In the year 2525" by Zager & Evans. Great song and I agree there has to be a better way.

You mention you make notes about what you made for who so you don't repeat things. Sign up for ravelery.com It lets you post what you made, make notes like what yarn you used and who you made it for. Its also a great way to see what people have made from patterns and see if people had the same problems as you with a pattern.

Glendale also has streets with the wrong street sign names so I'm not surprised by this.
