That was cool. I was actually going to ask how it felt to reshoot those scenes when I saw them the other night. Funny to see you already addressed it. Now when do JakeandAmir get their own 30 min MTV show? The people, err I, demand it.

About 10 years ago my sister, who is 12 yrs older than me, had a dream about being in a church and talking with our grandmother. In the dream my sister said she spoke with her while she was sitting at a piano and told her about what was going on with the family, told her about me and how I was doing (she passed in the late 70's before I was born), and basically said that we were all doing well.

When my sister woke up, she said she felt really peaceful and relaxed after having the dream and decided to call our mom to tell her about it. My sister described the dream to Mom, telling her the details such as, grandmother being in the church, what the church looked like with it's dark wooden panels and such, the proximity to the house, how grandmother was sitting at the piano, etc...

After hearing about the dream, Mom told my sister that there actually was a church near our house that she and our grandmother used to attend, but that it was torn down years before my sister was born. It did have dark wooden panels on the walls and around the alter, and that our grandmother used to play the piano in church on Sundays. None of which my sister was aware of before the dream.

Now that's spooky (but in a good way) .

Get'em Jake!

One or two roaches isn't bad though. Here in South Carolina they are so common place that we call them Palmetto Bugs. They are still roaches through and through, but calling them that helps to lessen the gross factor.

Try a Raid fogger to kill any that might be hiding behind the appliances and inside the walls. You can also get sprays that will help deter them from coming inside your apartment. You could take it one step further and get some caulking and a caulk gun and seal every opening along the walls, ceiling to floor. That way it will limit the number of places the roaches will be able to use to get inside. Just a thought though, and check with the landlord first.

At least it's not spiders. Roaches may be gross, but spiders will BITE you! Fuck that.

Oh my eyes and ears!! I had no idea there was an extended cut to this commercial. I wanna say something about Go Phone possibly making the commercial worth the amount of endorsement money they must have paid. However, my brain is starting to shutdown from the horror of what I just witnessed.

No doubt. It's in a great section of the city. However a quick drive around the periphery of downtown Charlotte will reveal 4-5 more comparable sized tenant & office buildings in various states of construction. Competition for tenants is going to be crazy in the coming year.

Hey Philip, thanks for the reply. I hope it read ok. I think the juice feast is an awesome idea. I never knew you could sustain yourself let alone thrive on a liquid diet. I'd definitely like to try it, but maybe on a shorter length of time. Did you do anything to prepare your body for the adjustment to a juice diet, or did you just jump right in?

I had read about some of that with the RED campaign. Something along the lines of 100 million spent in advertising and only 18 million actually being donated? I tried to hint at that with the Bono and his Starbucks line.

It is a fantastic advertising vehicle as far as the companies are concerned, but yeah, why buy pink M&M's when you can just donate to the Susan G Komen Foundation directly?

Really? Wow, I haven't tried it yet. That's too bad that it has all of those flaws. The concept idea is great, but it sounds like the company is a little shady. Thanks for the info.
