Agreed with your picks. Like the others, I also have Foursquare. Just got SocialScope a while back and use it for my Twitter feed - it seems to load better/quicker. It is also great as it incorporates my Foursquare and Facebook feed (though I think it is still in private beta).

Nice point. Why waste your energy obsessing about numbers, when a few quality connections are all that are needed? If they share your passion, their connections will be on board as well. Having a few quality followers will definitely give you the return that thousands of non-passionate followers won't. Your time and energy then can be spent doing what you love to do. Our narcissistic side sometimes takes over and we like to think we are well liked and popular, but in the end you have to ask yourself if these followers really add value to your life, and do you have the capacity to connect with them, which is what most people seek.

So good. Absolutely love mac and cheese combos! One of my personal favs is bacon or pancetta with Gorgonzola, yummy with a nice red wine. I've never done garlic and sundried tomatoes - will have to try for sure.

Thanks for posting the keynote, Gary.
You hit it bang on with people cannot be complacent and just cruise along.

When you are doing what you are passionate about, it shows and excites others, and it will seem effortless. Not giving up and not making excuses (ie. the economy) is key. There are so many available resources out there and networking opportunities, you just need to figure out what you want and just do it.

People strive so hard to keep up with the Jones' and keep up their "image", and wonder why they are working so hard and getting nothing out of it. Do what you want and wealth and satisfaction will follow.

Awesome reaction to a potentially damaging situation. Taking challenges and turning them opportunities is the only way to go. It is your positive attitude and big-picture-awareness that allows you to take hold of the situation and turn it around into excellent PR.

So many people get hit with a negative and think there is nothing worse. The key is to see how you can turn it around and make it work for you. You take it above and beyond, but show us that we too can do it.

Bottom line: It is all about the Attitude.
