Really liked your explanation of quick and dirty trees here. I’ve been at this for a while (genetic genealogy), and use them often. Hi Karen, I hope this message finds you OK. Christian Petri of Buffalo, NY and later NYC was born in Breitfurt, Saarland, Bavaria, Germany in Dec. 1850 to Philipp Petri and Elisabeth Gentes. I am a Buffalo native with Petri cousins in that same part of Europe and the United States. You'll see that on the 1900 census, Christian says he was born in Dec. 1850, matching Christian Petri born in Breitfurt in Dec. 1850. It is not a common name. Cheers!

I can see your point, though as a Catholic, I found it inspiring to see Catholicism in the country now and the way religion is woven into the lives of many Irish.

The way I look at it @niktemadur is one read through first... Then I can go back and re-read closer. BTW it is a Catholic Bible, mention that in the intro, and reading on an iPad.

They're parts that most speak to me.. that I personally find most interesting, @spejic - and I state this in the intro. That's all. They may not speak to you but I find them all very interesting, and each day after reading 1% of The Bible I make (the sometimes difficult) choice of which verse to highlight in the blog (though I highlight many, many verses in my iPad).

It is as simple as can be, so yes, less clunky, though I don't think the Web version is particularly clunky either?

I think it can reduce filter failure. You can search for nearby images for instance or tweets for really specific terms or for certain users. I think in the future it will only get better.

I agree with @Kate Gardiner - a link on every single tweet isn't necessary, nice to throw in some personality, observations and generalizations now and then. Quotes can be great too. Though at the same time, I like Sree's advice to at least include a hashtag or @ mention if you can.
