OTHER THINGS being the first lady means you should put some thought into what
you wear. She is seen as a representation of the women of this nation (ie FIRST
LADY) therefore a sense of formality or stateliness is necessary and
appropriate. I'm not the first to notice her lack of discretion in her attire
people.

position she's in. Her choice of clothing is just the most obvious indication
is she's clueless. 90% of the time her attire is entirely inappropriate for the
occasion. She has no sense of formality or stateliness.

Pardon my inaccuracy. However, my point is made regardless of if he said "people" "men" or "his children". The fact remains (and my point was) that his "dream" was that we would be judged by character not skin color. Geez.

MLK Jr. said “you should judge the man not by the color of his skin but on the content of his character”. You don’t hear anybody screaming “you should not judge!” at him do you? Why? Because everyone knows that he means it in an evaluative sense not an authoritative sense. Our civic duty as citizens of this great nation is to EVALUATE the candidates and vote for the best based on an educated decision. Apparently, according to you, that shouldn’t be allowed. Sorry if our democracy sickens you.

To recognize that a self proclaimed Christian is speaking or acting in a way that is contradictory to the Word is NOT judging. The Bible teaches Christians to hold themselves accountable to one another. This cliché "judging" topic is misused and not at all what those who oppose Obama's views are doing.
The Word says:
By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

For Christians to compare a persons actions against the Word so as to determine if they are wolves in sheep’s clothing or true followers of Christ is not judging, it's Biblical.

Jason, you have proven yourself to be intelligent & respectful while debating over a very controversial topic. It's refreshing to see that. You make valid points and challenge others to think with some common sense & logic. The idea of promoting, hiring, or electing based on merit rather than skin color still eludes so many people.
Regardless of how "personal" people want to make religion, God did not call us to "keep our faith to ourselves" but rather the opposite. I can't understand why some don't want to know or don't care to know where their leaders stand spiritually. It has everything to do with their ethics and value system which Christians take very seriously.
