It is only painful for those leeches who suck the life blood off of those who work outside of government (who don't have guaranteed jobs, pensions, vacation and slacker leave).

This is an opportunity for the state government to get lean, mean and efficient. I am not holding my breath.

Let's see...Gregoire ran declaring that Dino was not telling the truth about the impending budget shortfall...that we actually had a $700Million surplus, not a $3.2 Billion deficit...well, she was right about one thing.

Dino lied. Yep. We don't have a $3.2 Billion deficit as he claimed. It is, in fact $5.1BILLION. I wish Gregoire was speaking the truth, but she lied and the people believed her.

A friend told me that the people voted for Gregoire because she was able to bring people to the table...it's easy to bring people to the table when you are willing to overspend other peoples' money in an effort to keep your power.

Now we, the people, will suffer for this.

The state's budget has increased by 35% over the past four years, I ask--have you seen a 35% increase in benefits from your money? Has transportation gotten 35% better? Are state employees 35% more responsive to the citizens? 15%? 5%?

In olympia, there are many, many departments that are not in the State's Constitution. Those are non-essential agencies. Force these agencies to make a claim for their existence. I work hard for my money and I don't want Christine to just feel around in my pockets for anything she can find. My money--don't spend it like you stole it.

Please do not fight progress. Bothell has changed. We can either be a strip mall, or we can have lots of opportunity.

The downtown park must have some business to help pay for the park! We have spent million$ to acquire that land and it must be repaid through use.

Restaurants, shops would make this a destination. Woodin park is merely a place to bike through. Bothell must have MORE. Get something to eat, go sit in the amphitheater, hang out, shop, spend money (increased tax base)...we need shops and restaurants there!

The City has done a great job of actually balancing all of the goals of the GMA--including defending the constitutionally-protected rights of property ownership and use.

The Hearings Board made the correct decision.

This lawsuit was a waste of time and money and all that it accomplished was to drive up the cost of doing business in the City of Bothell while taking away resources that could have been better spent on public safety, parks and actually protecting the environment through purchasing property and planting trees.

Aagaard added that her group knew going in that in order to prevail it would need to prove Bothell’s rules were “clearly erroneous,” a high burden of proof they never thought they would be able to meet.

So, she KNEW that she was not going to win, and yet she wasted tens of thousands of tax payer dollars so that she could feel important?

Low-impact development is necessary. We need a MINIMUM of 7 homes per total acre if we are EVER going to have effective mass transit. Aagard lives on a huge property with sweeping views and has fought against anyone who affects her life.

If you want to know why housing costs so much around here, you have people like Ms. Agard to thank for it--these lawsuits cost everyone tons of money, time and opportunity, and guess what, houses are built anyway, with a price tag hundreds of thousands of dollars more than would otherwise happen ($200,000 more according to a UW economics professor)!!!

Again, she knew that she would not win and she did it for her own personal satisfaction or for who knows why. All that she accomplished was to drive the cost of working with the City of Bothell up higher and higher while eliminating affordable housing in the city.

It is amazing that these people stand up and do this for free! A completely volunteer clergy! Even the missionaries go out for two years and don't get paid. wow.

The headline should have been "Stalker harrasses family" She talks of bigotry and intolerance, but she should look in the mirror. She isn't even brave enough to give us her real name. Why? Is she afraid that there will be a protest at her hut?

Considering the fact that these "tolerant" protestors have vandalized a dozen churches, set fire at one (including lighting Holy, Sacred Scriptures), sent fake Anthrax to the Salt Lake City and Los Angeles Temples, trespassed, stolen private property, extorted restaurants, blacklisted and used every type of thuggery possible to get their way, it is amazing that Mr. Pugh is declared to be "intolerant"...Tolerance is a two-way street.

This type of behavior is intolerable. Krystalnacht? Blacklisting? Anonymous harrassment at home (at a time/place specifically designed because of his religious beliefs)--She should be charged with a HATE CRIME. Everything she did was because of his religious beliefs, the posts she did online, the timing, even her banner all display her religious hatred and intolerance.

If this is Obama's "new way" if you disagree with him and his minions, watch out, you will lose your business, be forced out of your job, be forced to pay hush money and then have anonymous stalkers show up at your home at random times of day to paint anti-religious commentary on your windows.
