This counts Theda Sandiford twice as a speaker. The other speaker here is Pete Jelliffe is the Sr. Product Manager for Platforms at the Direct-to-Consumer division of Warner Music Group.

Pete leads a team who design and build websites for Warner's artists, and do so in a way that scales across hundreds of artists globally. He combines his expertise in design and development with his love of music to build novel, scalable solutions that help fans be the best fans they can be.

Re:

Initially the idea for the bar was to have a really killer selection of spirits from relatively cheap to expensive where people could have all sorts of different experiences with alcohol." -- uhhh love SOM, but ....

---- my one MAJOR gripe with SOM is the complete LACK of any good red wine. It's a lousy pinot. We live in San Francisco - can't we at least get a good Cab, Zin, Syrah or Merlot - some diversity. Thanks

Re: Patrick Wolf turned psychosomatic, Thom Yorke is working on a softcore erotic movie about sulky gothic teenagers, I ponder crises of said times.

The music you are looking for is called jazz.

Re: How about this, this is for you

Fred Falke is the John Tesh of the internets these days

Re: All Thieves/Fred Falke'd

You wrote - "like an eagle soaring over the most picturesque mountainous terrain imaginable."

Right - he's getting close to John Tesh category music here, Tesh, former Entertainment Tonight host, did the music for the Tour De France coverage, to create a similar effect.

Re: All Thieves/Fred Falke'd

This almost sounds exactly like the Joakim remix of Cut Copy's 'Hearts on Fire' ... or parts of Falke's remix of Little Boots' 'New in Town'.... I'm lucky for instance in this economy many conferences offer free hall passes, and they are located in San Francisco, for instance read this post on my enthusiasm about that:

http://blogs.cisco.com/medi...

Also not all of us get invited to things like AllThingsDigital !! Yet I'm inspired by the fact that most conferences live online, via searchable hash tags, videos, slide presentations, etc. So I hear you on travel, but fortunately most conferences seem to be going virtual with their content. I'm going to blog about that topic too soon. Thanks for the inspiration! Chuck Fishman

*By the way the Facebook Connect integration failed here for commenting, and seems to fail on every other blog I try to use it on

Re: South Park Over Logging

So what typically happens with SouthParkStudios.com is that you get a weeks time to replay the episode the week of airdate, and the episode goes away for about 3 weeks, and will be available again then. Similar to a typical repeat cycle on TV. Please do not use the word funk to describe a rut. Funk is a powerful force, and as George Clinton says "Funk can not only move, it can remove". I would say sour, stuck, in a rut, worn down ... but funk is that special power that at least I use to get over the hump, and I've certainly done that in the past two years.

I suggest practicing "Entelechy"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

And when you put funk + enetelechy - you have something quite powerful

http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

Listen to that song and I know you will feel better too

Cheers, Chuck
