One thing: this isn't cultural appropriation. By "definition" it is "the adoption of elements of one culture by members of a different culture group". These kids weren't adopting the Mexican/Spanish culture as their own. They were making fun of it. As much as I disagree behind the use of this term, if you're going to use it, it's important you use it correctly.

Dear Writer, were you even alive when this first came out? There is nothing to be excited about. "While it might not have the same ’80s campy feel of the cartoon, or even the same story, we’ve still got the same band". WRONG. Not the same band. Nothing is the same.

told him a kiss would save her, it had to be "true love's kiss". She had

This song is about a one night stand - not unrequited love. The first line in the song is "Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one-night stand". Not that it takes anything away from how powerful the song is but I don't know where you get unrequited love and especially when you quote the lyrics "This ain't love, it's clear to see." But nice dancing.

"Committed" contributes to the stigma of suicide? Implying suicide is selfish contributes to the stigma of suicide. Suggesting suicide is the easy way out contributes to the stigma of suicide. I think you are focusing on the wrong word(s). Teaching awareness and stressing that getting help is not weakness should be the focus not the semantics of when it's already too late.

Good luck to you, Peter! I've always wanted to learn Japanese. But like with all things, I have the motivation in the beginning and things just tapper off.

I hope you're not like me and you stick with it.

Anyway, I'd be really interested to know what kind of gameshows, videos and commercials you're watching!
