Interest destabilizes the banking system because it is a positive feedback loop. There have been 4 Presidents who tried to fix this problem and they were all assassinated. Very big problem to explain to people who have been making a living off a system that is based on fraud and deceit. People who have been lied to their entire lives.

Notice that the Fed has dropped the interest rate to zero % so theoretically the Govmt could borrow whatever it needed from the central bank to prevent the masses of bankruptcies that the existing system could not possibly handle.. It could borrow whatever it needed to pay off the entire Govnmt debt. The general public would not have to be taxed to death to pay off a debt that they never should have been saddled with in the first place. Does the bank run the Govnmt or is it the other way around? Thought the King controlled everything.

If this interest-free money gets into the economy at the bottom of the social hierarchy instead of at the top, we will have a new civilization. A civilization is just a social hierarchy.

Re: Don't Say You Are An Entrepreneur

If you do anything just for the money, you are not an entrepremanure, and you are not having fun.

Re: Are You A Somebody? Or Are You Just Waiting For One

When I was about 35, I was fired from a Canadian Governmt position as a photographer because I had missed my quota of B&W prints for the month by two. Gaetan Lussier was the Deputy Minister in charge of the place at that time and had apparently got his job for his linguistic abilities rather than for any talent managing anything. I launched my appeal through the employee's union and was provided with a union representative who represented me and the first three levels of Governmt that I worked under.

The adjudication was a bit of a kangaroo court and I was officially let go because the event in question was considered a culminating incident. No one could state that there was work to be completed or if I was on break or what, but it was noted that I was in the dark room, an un-air conditioned little room smelling of photo chemicals which I inhaled all day and the room light was on.

I waited for the dust to settle. The Department of Agriculture union dues were increased by $1 a month and I was offered a position in the union office, but at that point, after 13 years of Governmt nonsense, I was not that interested in becoming a representative of the normal people who had fired me. I didn't know it at the time but I was obviously suffering from PTSD. The disorder had not been invented so nobody suffered from it. Now everyone who works for the Governmt has it.

Before the adjudication, my immediate supervisor was blamed for all the fuss and shipped out to the west coast to a position at Summerland. Next level up, ex-military type, retired before the adjudication and the two levels beyond that got promoted to 'Management Evaluation Directorate' (no employees and probably no budget). Next level up got shifted to Mines And Tech so out of Department. Then we have the Senior assistant Deputy Minister Fleishman who lasted another 6 months and Deputy Minister Gaetan who was shifted into some ugly Governmt positions and finally bought some shares in Canada Bread and became their President.

Still haven't had an apology for what I was subjected to but I would like to thank all the people who were instrumental in changing my career path. I think that I have done my bit to reduce the size of governmt even if it is just by two letters.

Re: The #1 Rule of “NO”

Since retiring 14 years ago I have been weening myself of making executive decisions. We are entering a whole different civilization.

One alternative is to have a field set up for the convenience of the players and limited live viewing, and transmit live video of the event into selected local restaurants and sports bars. These remote viewing stations would provide for a larger potential paying audience and take care of the traffic and security and a whole lot of other things connected with a large crowd of people.

The field costs would drop making it more available for amateur teams. The network of viewing stations could also provide a venue for local talent and effectively provide custom entertainment for each different location during the off season. The whole business of professional sports funded by tax credits is due for change.

We could be voting on line for most valuable player, providing bonuses for some and penalties for others. It would make the whole game interactive with the viewers.

Re: East Austin motorcycle shop turned Italian eatery reveals opening date

Is it the thought of Italian food that turns your crank, or do you have other problems?

Re: The Commandments of the American Religion

My contribution......PLIGH-OTTAWA DIY Projects

Re: 9 Ways to Make Money on YouTube Without Ads

So give us your online store link. I would go look just for fun, and if you are offering something that I wanted I could conceivably become a new customer. Why the avatar? Most of my friends are real people and they have a life and a world vision that I can relate to. Rule #1 running any business is to be findable. As a professional, I should be able to fine you on LinkedIn. What are you offering that I can not find from anyone else? You may not have time to do public speaking, but you better find time to answer questions from the public. So what are you selling?

Re: Ten years of QuébecSolidaire: The record of a pro-capitalist, pro-imperialist party

The average person only has access to a very small part of the Internet. There are lots of nets that most people don't even know about. All traffic goes through 16 servers in the US and the major providers are all linked together. No one person or nation controls the whole thing. Yes you can screw it up...but that screws it up for you as well. We still need global trade. As Keith Alexander said a while back. "When you are looking for a needle in a haystack you have to have the whole haystack." The NSA has already hired all the world's best technical people, so there is not much competition. When you control communications you pretty well control everything. Took a while for all the scammers to become legit business people, but the Internet is fast become a safe place to play.

Re: Bobby Casey: Travel the World (Forever) and Never Feel Broke Again…

So you believe that everything will continue as it has for the past 200 years.? We are all born with a certain amount of personal power and either waste it on doing things for ourselves or gain more of it by helping others. All of the available energy we have at any given moment is used up doing what we have learned a lifetime to do. Our personal history is what shapes our egos and makes us think and act the way we do. Our thoughts control our emotions and it is emotions that make us act the way we do. Stop the internal dialogue and you conserve energy that you can use for other things.

Re: Gerson-style Therapy vs. Chemotherapy

Problem with peer reviewed scientific studies is that they are all bunk conducted by the people who sell the product. If a Doctor wants to get you in for chemo treatment so his hospital can fill all the beds, he will show you the peer reviewed scientific study where 100 people were given chemo and only 10 died within 5 years showing a 90% success rate. He does not show you the per reviewed scientific study where 10 people were not given chemo and only 1 died within 5 years, which also shows a 90% success rate. All these peer reviewed scientific studies are conducted for the same reason, to support decisions by the experts, so the triage that selects the patients for the trials will always make selections that support the intended purpose, even if distorts reality. The intent reveals the motive for doing anything. Everyone is selling something for ultimately personal benefits. The drug companies pay the salaries of the F&D executives. Shareholders of drug companies fund the governments that make the rules that maintain the establishment.

Primary health care is what is done to avoid going to hospital. What you get when you go sick is the alternative, or more aptly, secondary health care.

Gall stones, kidney stones, liver stones are all basically the same thing caused by not getting the waste out of the body. The liver produces the bile that breaks down fat so that enzymes from the pancreas have a larger surface to work on. When any one of these organs gets full of toxic waste (anything the body does not need) or is impaired by trapped stones, the entire health of the patient suffers.

I don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Never knew how to make coffee until Mr. Gerson suggested I give myself a coffee enema. Start with a liver flush and see how polluted your body really is. I thought my back pain was from a herniated disk. Turns out that the pain I have lived with for most of my life comes from a liver that is going solid from stones.....another testimonial from a snake oil salesman.

Re: Bobby Casey: Travel the World (Forever) and Never Feel Broke Again…

In selling , you have to evaluate the customer's risk aversion. It is measured by that person's ability to risk his own money. Some people back off when the risk exceeds their ability to cover the loss. People like trump don't know their limits so they bet the farm every time. They are as predictable as dodo birds. They lose big time.

Re: 10 Natural Remedies for Kidney Stones

Had a herniated disk found by MRI so I thought that was the problem, but pain seemed to move around to side at times. Did a liver cleans and passed masses of gall stones, bile and God knows what. Figured I needed some kidney TLC so looked into that. Found that people had treated their cats for kidney stones with D-Mannose powder which is actually a fruit sugar found in apples. Suspect that it has an odd electron balance that prevents it from entering healthy cells, but gets into the cells that form the stones and disrupts their function or breaks them up.

These stones are organic so they start as bits of jelly and get harder over time and they form in all organs and are all effected by what we put into our mouths. Size may not be as critical as hardness and any organ not functioning properly results in a cascade of ailments, often turning to cancer as blood supply (oxygen) gets interrupted.

All the organs are symbiotic and rely on each other. For almost immediate relief from the pain I had every time my bladder was full, every bit as effective as a Tylenol, I had success with parsley tea and also with watermelon seed tea (recommended by Edger C.).

As soon as I realized that my pain was a result of ossified organs and not a bent spine, I stopped complaining about a sore back.....back cured.

Re: Misconceptions Of Prepping By Non-Preppers

Hoarding fuel and food is good for short term survival, but for sustainable security we need a more serious degree of preparation.

How about having some seeds set aside and learning how to grow them.? Spent this last summer learning about agricultural fertilizer. We are running out of the chemical stuff, and turning waste into usable nutrition for plant food may be useful. Worms turn rock into usable plant food and produce 5 times as much of it as the kitchen waste they eat, so learning about worms makes some sense.

Storing and preserving food is another challenge and surprising as it is, the old ways of fermentation and dehydration provide all kinds of human nutrition that is lacking in our present diet.

Knowing what plants can replace commercial medicine is also a worthwhile study. What I learned there is that most of the meds we use can be replaced with common plants that work as well without side effects. Found a few new ways to treat old problems.

As for protection and hunting, my weapon of choice is the blow gun made from a piece of plastic water pipe. With a little practice you can plant, with surprising accuracy, a used hypodermic syringe into the wooden fence at the end of the garden. Also have a back up air gun which does a great job firing Chinese chopsticks that have been driven through a sizing hole in a sheet of steel. Simple weapons have an unlimited supply of ammunition.

Re: How To Be A Genius

Used my waiter's pad to list what has happened to me in the past two years.
11 Jan 2015
Got viral pneumonia..... turned into meningitis...lost hearing ....and had a heart valve replaced with a mechanical one. Then passed some blood and had an endoscope and ultrasound looking for cause. Found a 5.8 cm tumour on my pancreas. Had an endoscopic ultrasound needle biopsy which put me back into ICU because I almost bled to death internally. Doctors recommended surgery without confirming cancer......but I am on blood thinners because of the mechanical valve, and I have little interest in living with tubes hanging out, so we do no invasive anything to treat the 'symptoms', and I go home to treat the 'cause'. Wreck my back removing a tree stump. Gave myself a herniated disk.....found a lump in chest which proved to be breast cancer and had it surgically removed after a full bone scan.

Realized that the 60 plus doctor visits covered by Canadian medical insurance were for diagnostic and treatment of symptoms only. The whole system is geared to make profits for the doctor business and there is no curing of anything attempted. No serious effort given to determine cause, and plan improved diet and correct nutrition. The hospitals would be empty if people could eat good food instead of the industrial products that have had the good nutrition extracted and sold to the wealthy as little bottles of supplements. The costs for medical health would be reduced dramatically if we had a doctor in every community paid directly by the community.

Every time a doctor sends me for a biopsy or surgery at a hospital, I have to do 'bridging', which is getting off blood thinner and substituting a series of anti blood clotter injections. These needles deliver 18 cents worth of drug in a $100 patented disposable device.

I am still alive and feeling great, but am not even going to guess at how much has been invested in my education. What I learned is that proper diet and rest can cure most health problems. Doctors don't cure anything. Your body does the healing if it has the materials to work with. As for what passes as medicine, read the labels. Most of them are toxic and all will kill you eventually.

Re: I Made a Mistake

It is never correct to use 'myself' in a sentence that does not also contain another first-person pronoun such as 'I' 'me', or 'my'. It will not happen. The forces that are becoming more evident indicate that a possible solution for the differences of desires could best be accommodated by allowing every area to form its own sovereign area where in which it could exercise total power over its citizens. Any area in which 90% of the population wish, can form their own sovereign community/nation/municipality and make up their own rules. All the people in every part of the nation would have the government they could control to their wishes.

The world is now run by the websites that make up the Internet. It is a form of global management in which the members of each social network form an alliance that is not bound by borders and representative government. Each party can have its own membership and settle differences on line in public forums. The large sums of money needed to finance big government can now be eliminated and communities of little people can come together on line to trade and communicate in whatever language they choose.

Re: Dear President Trump, Please Protect the Environment

How about some free info?
http://christidman.blogspot...

Re: How I Make Money Off Of Trends…

"If you want to get something done, start before you are ready".- Richard Branson

Re: How to rebuild your broken idea machine

As for the stock market, it is a gambling game you buy chips (stock) to get in and you have to sell them to another player to get out. If there are many players buying your position they may collectively make you wealthy and they could be buying something they will have to give away.....or paper their bedroom with. The dealer makes money on every trade just like a bank and all the dealers play the game, but they produce nothing and rely on the real butchers and bakers, candlestick makers and other worker bees to feed and clothe them.

The stock market is a source of entertainment and fabricated information for the news world who devote whole pages of data to challenge simple minds occupied with harmless activity. The stock market adjustments that occur are the result of an unstable number of players who join and leave the game. When all the winners have left the table and no new investors with money can be found, the system collapses. Get out while you can. It is not sustainable, much like insurance and retirement plans that only work well when the economy is expanding. The economy should be expanding with more people being born every day.......but we don't give the poor people any chips to get into the game, so when we run out of the 'working class trying to get ahead' it will collapse the whole game.

You may as well buy a lottery ticket. At least some of the money gets to the doctors who really need the money to build bigger hospitals with more paid parking to cover the cost of expensive tools and diagnostic machines.
