Everyone talks about Welch, and I've seen him in interviews, but I've never read the book. I've been browsing the preview at http://bit.ly/welchWinning and in just a few minutes, it's made quite an impression. "Never let yourself be a victim" is good advice, in general, but especially in terms of product management.

Re: Oh! Can we get some definition and groupings on them?

- Chris
http://twitter.com/chriscum...

Re: In 30 Seconds, What is Your Strategy?

This sounds almost like the high-level pitch a screenwriter might give to a movie producer. My favorite--possibly apocryphal--pitch is for the movie "Alien" where the pitch was, "It's 'Jaws'--in space!”

Can you describe what you do as a PM in that manner? What your business does? What your current strategy is? And make it so exciting and simple that they're begging for more?

I think, really, what the best PMs do is tell--and listen to--stories.

- Chris

http://twitter.com/chriscum...

Re: Simple Social Media Truths

Great list. #10 rings especially true, especially on Twitter.

Re: PrizeRoom launches casual games with promotional prizes

Welcome to the industry, PrizeRoom!

For another take on free online game shows played for real cash prizes, check out http://gamesville.com/
