How you say something, the tone of your voice and gestures, is more important than what you say (1).  Holder was so soft and gentle when he spoke these words that I missed them the first time.  And I would say individuals who get really worked up over these few words (clearly an example of taking words out of context and blowing them up out of proportion) are being dishonest.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I don't, however, think cowardice accurately defines the problem of talking about race in America.  I think Americans are, like Obama, hesitant to discuss race with someone of another race be it black, white, asian, mexican, etc, out of a sense of respect and desire not to offend the person.  Explain why a comedian typically only makes jokes about his race and religion?
