I must have been channeling your thoughts, because I was having a similar discussion this weekend.

Bottom line: I already have a paying job. A more-than-full-time paying job, with hours set by and demands made by somebody else. I can't always afford the energy that it takes to blog *for free*, so if I only post once in a while and nothing comes of it - fine. Like you said, my little corner of cyberspace!

Anyway, I'm glad you're still here and posting. You do know that you and Not Martha Megan were the first two blogs I followed, right? To lose either one of you would make me a very sad Chez Shoes.

Oh, I know the feeling well, even though I've only had the blog going for 6 years. Can't quit, but not really inspired to keep it up. I'd rather just take pictures!

Funny you should mention this. I've been meaning to ask you what kind of straightening iron you bought to help manage the growing out - I think I need to do the same thing, because this hair? Driving me bonkers.
