We support having a WORKING sign, new or old, refurbished or redesigned. We have donated money for a new sign. We also lived in Normal Heights when that community (with our support) put up a WORKING sign. It was not a mistake. It added to the community character. We are tired of all the unwarranted criticism of Dr. Koenig, who is volunteering his time as a labor of love for our community. All those who like to criticize should (a) have joined the Ken Tal Community Association when the sign issue was being addressed or (b)step up to the plate and volunteer to take on the project to its completion. If someone thinks they can repair the old sign and re-hang it, do it. There is not a limitness pot of human time or money. With all this bickering, we still need a WORKING sign. </p>
