Absolutely, Patrick. If ever there was a show perfect for paranormal skeptics, this one is it. They might not be able to convince a die-hard non-believer on the Dana Scully level, but even someone like that would probably find the TAP team's methods and results a little intriguing. And the audio evidence from the premiere was nothing less than shocking.

I'm real hesitant to even start watching a new program because just when you start to enjoy it, it's canceled!!!!

Tell me about it, Pam. And that is killing the audience for so many TV shows these days before they even have a chance to find an audience.

The sooner networks accept that most shows can't attract 20 million or however many viewers, especially out of the gate, the sooner we TV watchers will start getting more time to grow with series as they mature.

I can't wait for that day, and I hope it arrives while I'm still around to enjoy it.

We obligingly pluck down hundreds of dollars each month to get the same movies, day after day, segmented now into catgories like the "old" movie network, then the OLD OLD movie etc etc. and the list goes on.

Tell me about it.

I wasn't aware that HBO was first touted as the future of commercial-free television. Funny how that worked out — or not.

You, me, and thousands, if not millions, of other TV watchers agree that Nielsen ratings are so unreliable it's a travesty how much networks rely on them. I hope I live to see the day when they're completely abolished; the only worry is what would take their place...

I can totally understand that, Morjana, especially if a person has personal experience with law enforcement like you do.

The show has taken a few episodes to grow on me, and although I watch because I have to for another TV blog, it's my least favorite original series on USA. Still, it has gotten better with time.

Paula, I'm not affiliated with USA Network, but I'm pretty sure they have no intention of removing NCIS from the air permanently. The schedule just switches around a lot., so you have to keep checking your television listings to stay on top of the times.

Hi Morjana. I couldn't agree with you more, as you know.

I hope the premiere and this week's episode were as good for you as they were for me, although I have to say I'm having trouble getting used to having Woolsey around. I don't really like him that much, so maybe he'll grow on me later ... much later.

I understand exactly where you're coming from, chas1. And the show has only gotten better with time, which is why I'm really excited for the next season, too. I have no doubt it's going to be fantastic!

You're not the only one who feels that way, Lydia. The show claims the parents are able to monitor their children at all times through video cameras, which probably makes volunteering their children seem more acceptable to them.
