first thing. don't sweat the small stuff. think about what you need to achieve that day, and by the end of the week. I'm not perfect, but I find a good balance. also use systems that remind you of your schedule (phone with calender alerts, etc).being organized is not bad. just dont micro manage. if you have repeating events, figure out their optimal days and dedicate to that schedule. last, schedule time for yourself, you don't have to be at every event (even though I like living vicariously through your tweets and pics from time to time) ...your real friends will be there for you even if you can't make their event.

one other suggestion, get yourself a virtual assistant; preferably someone in a different timezone who's awake when you're not.

and those are my suggestions.

I was disappointed I didn't meet up with you or anyone else I know in the SF area.

I'm planning on going again in 2011 (assuming I have the $$$'s). There's always time to convince you're work they need a booth at Google I/O 2011! Sounds perfectly legit reasoning to me. =) Besides, I must experience Sukhjit tour of SF!

The video from the bloggie touch looks great! I recognize that place, I was there back in May when I was at Google I/O.

We walked that way to china town. If I remember correctly there's a "PINK" store in that side of the block. One of the people I was with stopped into that store (and was in there way too long), he was buying something for his GF.

dcfemella, I agree with you.

To the person who made the post (I couldn't find a screen name). Be honest, make it clear that for you religion is not welcome in your dating experiences. How she handles this, should tell you all you need to know. At the very least you're setting a boundary. If she can't accept that or understand your concern, than she's not a match.

the roads have been plowed well enough and it's not snowing anymore. so recording is still on. in fact matt was hanging out this evening and just left.

wow. 20 inches... too much! =) after the driveway was plowed... there's a pile big enough for me to make a snow fort... or as I have been saying... I could make a mini Hoth base. =)

that's one thing I like about android, is that before you install it tells you what parts it will need access to, including things like GPS, camera, contacts, internet access and etc.

So this is the difference from knowing you online verse IRL. I'm somewhat indifferent that you're leaving/moving. I know I will always see you online.

I'm happy you're making a life change and starting on a new life adventure and new job. Sometimes we need this. (I'm waiting for my day to come when I will do that as well.) But then another part of me is sad that you're leaving so many local friends.

Of course, I can't wait to see what new gadgets you'll share with us from Sony, but most importantly I can't wait to what new found joy you'll share!

Blog more, blog often. Not all of us can be there for you IRL, but we will always be here (almost at any hour) online!

Masa, thanks for checking out the VLOG. I just heard yesterday Canon is releasing the S11. So the S100 and the S10 are the same camera except the S10 has 32GBs on-board. So for the S11 they doubled the on-board memory to 64GBs and added LANC control. Which is sort of nice if you have a need for LANC. I'd like to have the option... but I know I would probably never use it.

Thanks Sukhjit! Yeah there are bunch of new formats... but thankfully I have editing software that works with it natively. The only down-fall for AVCHD is that it's processor intensive. So I can't it back in any ole media player. The irony is I had a lot more to say... =) I think a another vlog is in order.

Heh. Well, I'm not eating junk food. =) I'm just not sleeping as well as I should; allergies. Compress, that into a very busy work and life schedule and I have fewer chances to "sleep the day away"; to regain my balance. That's what I've been struggling with as of late. But, don't fret I will figure it out.

As far as vid communities. I think they're all lacking focus, IMO. Seesmic had it just right for a short period of time. But, they just didn't have the proper architecture to support the growth. For a while now, I have been thinking I should build something more complete and scalable. But I don't have the personal time or energy. I did buy the DNS and I know my general plan for the look, feel and backend. Of course I will "crush it" with some mobile phone support and an API.

You can always leave me private messages on TokBox. I check that from time to time.

Well I'm glad you're hanging in there. I have to get back to work. Good to talk to you, even if it's not video. =(

Heh. I'm doing alright. Just busy. Early morning meetings, late night work elevations, then early morning activities with other projects. Then add allergies keeping me up at times. I'm not getting a lot of "me" time to sit around and rest. But, I'm alright.

day 2? how's it going? I hope you're withdraw is going well. I find a nice hot shower always wakes me up.

but don't make the mistake of swapping out your coffee for energy drinks! instead, have some fresh OJ and have a good healthy breakfast. if the body can't get a kick start, at least consume things that will let your body find the energy for you!
