That was such a nice video! Her outfit was so glamorous *_*
I definitely know what you mean about Shanghai, though. I felt that way when I visited over break (but I don't actually like the mainstream Chinese fashion that much...it's kinda too frilly). Like a really exciting, intense city. I think this video focused a bit too much on the modernized/Westernized aspects. I really like walking down the old/tourist-trappy areas too, where there are still some street stalls and cheap knocked-together stalls selling wholesale items at bargaining prices.

Uh, well, did you try telling her you couldn't sleep? Honestly, I go to sleep every single night someone is awake typing on their laptop or clicking furiously by playing video games; the bright desk lamp is always on; sometimes they are whispering together in my room as well. In the mornings sometimes they wake up and talk more. Or they come in really late and close the door. I don't think it's an uncommon thing and two times in a year really doesn't sound that bad compared to what I've heard. John Qiu for example had a snoring roommate so he bought earplugs and an eye mask. And another guy I know had a roommate who would stay and talk in his room until 2 AM or sing Disney duets. Sure the tossing and turning could be seen as a sign but if she's preoccupied she might not have really noticed. I advise against being passive aggressive 'cause they'll never know that way.
