But the rechargable ones all seem to allow only a limited number of charges, such as 500 times. I know her -- she'll be using it every day. That means it'll last about a year and a half (or less if she charges it more than once a day). I don't mind paying more if I can get her a new battery for the handwarmer when the old ones dies. Or do I have to buy a whole new hand warmer? Thanks for any info.

Re: The One-Minute Writer: Today's Writing Prompt: Favorite Prompt

Thanks!

Re: The One-Minute Writer: Today's Writing Prompt: Favorite Prompt

I'm new to this site, so I randomly picked my 2016 birthday to write on today. In my writing today, I talked more about how I've been OFF reading books lately. (http://carolynbahm.com/2016... But what I've currently got bookmarked is my place in "The Girl on the Train," by Paula Hawkins. I think this novel has an unreliable narrator and many sad parts that I didn't expect. And I like a book that has me speculating and unsure about who the real killer is. ;o) [PS, I'm using this prompt today because I've only been using this site for a few days, so I randomly chose my birthday as the prompt I would write for today, July 1, 2016.]

Re: The One-Minute Writer: Photo Prompt

I've been using these prompts over the last few days to inspire personal blogposts about memories, reflections, etc. This time I loved the creepy pic so much I gave fiction a try. http://carolynbahm.com/2016...

Re: The One-Minute Writer: One Word Wednesday: Dark

I am enjoying the one-minute writing prompts. This week is my first stab at them, and I'm putting them on my blog at http://www.carolynbahm.com. Here's mine on today's topic:

"I’m a big fan of dark humor — the kind that lets me weather the pain, anger or just outrage related to a disturbing topic. I think humor is social grease that we all need to use so we aren’t so abrasive to each other, even when talking about difficult things."

Re: Science of Wine

What wines will be available for this event?

Re: Best Cities for Young Families in Tennessee

We enjoy reading your lists at my newspaper. I love squared-off French tips but my main gripe is how my constant typing wears off the finish too quickly, so i don't often indulge. Hmm!

One tip on making the nail grow-in not too immediately obvious is to use some cuticle cream and an orange wood stick and push the cuticles back the night before getting the manicure.
