However, it does provide an environment where those participating can contribute to improving the situation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Grace: A note that ScienceSim is sponsored/supported only in part by Intel.  The ACM High-Performance Computing folks (they do the SuperComputing 2009 Conference) are the driving force behind using it as a base for experimentation in collaborative data visualization.  Also, other organizations (academic, national labs, individuals) will provide regions which join the ScienceSim grid.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">carterliveoak</dc:creator><pubDate>Fri, 06 Feb 2009 11:55:50 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
