The darkness over the land has gotten so much darker. The unrelenting evidence that our huge population and our consumption is destroying the very earth that sustains us is clear. What is not is, how is it possible greed would make some ignore the fact that they will probably die from this too, along with everyone else. Man's ego and ignorance can be seen no where more clearly than with Bret Kavanaugh and Donald Trump.

Lacking clear and strong convictions that represent Maine and the country, Senator Collins is such a seasoned politician, she has lost her understanding that the people are paying attention as we never have before. There is no question Maine needs a clear and strong representative in our Senate and it will be the time soon to decide who will run again her to restore Maine and this county ethically and morally.

This is exactly why the world is not OK. This man is not being held accountable for abuses against minors and must pay the price after a proper trial and resolution. These children should be paid for their pain. Not OK, just not OK.

By the mere size of the foreclosure mess one might ask what has happened to so many people. Home is the most important investment, personally and financially in the US. Families are suffering and the middle class has lost trillions, making their futures unstable. Banks have been exposed as creating the largest fraud against homeowner's in history and yet people still call neighbors losers. Banks continue to make profits on foreclosures as they have insurance to repay them the loss, tax advantages and they resell for less yet make more. A scam as no other continues. It is outrageous we have become so divided to miss the impact of foreclosure on real people. It is more outrageous we have no political leadership protecting average people from scams.
If it were up to me I would tell others to stop paying all banks and let them fail. Let local banks, well regulated handle the homeowner to prevent all this fraud. Knowing people helps. It is too big not to fail.
These are real people after all, not deadbeats, just caught in a scam.

Our citizens have lost trillions due to fraud and you try to suggest some economic solution? Where is the humanity? Stop foreclosure, adjust the real estate basis and offer low rates to stabilize our economy and our homes. The system has failed and more MBA solutions is yet another reason for fraud to occur. Let them fail like individuals do and let us create new banks and regulate them providing the protection individual homeowners deserve.
I believe it is the Harvard crowd who created this mess. I actually went there myself.

There are actually people who think homeowners should just pay their mortgages. Might be true but banks set up a scheme that has cost trillions of dollars of middle class families hard earned money. Now, Bondi and other Republican AG's expect families to pay banks, or trusts back money on devalued real estate after these banks spent all the taxpayer money that was intended to bail out the homeowner.
Crooks.
This economic mess will get much worse if the middle class continues to suffer. We need affordable homes and good jobs, simple folks.
