Larry Summers suggested that innate gender differences between the sexes might explain the few women in science and math. It cost him his job. Didn't the student learn from this that diversity of opinion is verboten on elite college campuses.

Don't you know that we were the main part of the story on GAMEDAY on 11/16/02, when we got killed at Franklin Field, 44-9? I believe that the ratings of that program in Philly were one of the highest, if not the highest, in the history of the program.

Clemente is great, but I really don't think we'll win the Ivy this year. Probably aroun 14-12 overall.

Good column, Lucas. It's now or never. Lafayette this week will be tough, but a win against Penn on 10/17 is a must. I hear they're down to their 4th string QB this week. I'm blaming Wilson if we're not at least 5-2 in the league this year.

This buffoon of a coach is getting more embarrassing by the minute. It's early in his fourth year and he's 9-23 - not what we expected or deserve. If we're not at least .500 this year, Dianne should replace him.

One major correction: The Dodgers LOST the first game of the 1965 World Series, 8-2. Koufax started the next game and was beaten, probably weak from fasting the day before.You are right to state that Koufax pitched shutouts in game 5 (Sukkot) and game 7.

So true, anniec! Read the transcript of Obama's press conference on Friday. Sgt. Crowley "was A oustanding police officer." Couple that with his assertion last summer that he "had A uncle" who liberated Auschwitz. You can't make this stuff up. Heard someone say the other day that we long for the days of old when W spoke - when he was drinking!
