I saw the buy 3 12 packs & get 1 free for 10.99. (Not as good of a deal as yours.) BUT I went to another store to buy a newspaper and found a buy 2 24 packs for 10.00. So I didn't save much, but it paid for my paper! Now I need to find that IAMS deal!!!!! ;-) -c-

Re: POLL: What’s your favorite pizza topping?

OH MAN! Only 30lbs. more! :-D TY Rosie & Liz!

Re: PAD: Play, Smile, Save, Eat

OMG!!! I have a coupon WOO HOO find/success story! Cob has 15oz boxes of Totino's pizza rolls for 10 for $10. BUT I have 5 $1 off 2 any size Totino's. SO... that's 10 boxes for $5 / .50 cents a box!!! I know you guys have probably figured out how to get these free ;-) but it's making me feel like I'm kinda getting this couponing thing. Now I have to see if Walmart will meet the 10 for 10 price so I can save a couple drops of gas and not have to drive over to Cub. ;-)

Re: Forgotten Photo Friday

Well aren't you just CUTE! :-) Look at that smile - PRICELESS!!!!! -c-

Re: POLL: Do You Celebrate Valentine’s Day?

We don't necessarily celebrate Valentine's Day in and of itself. Without being too corny, every day is Valentine's Day. DH & I met so much later in our lives that every single day is filled with loving each other that much more. Through sick or injured animals, bills, needs and wants, at the end of it all we have each other no matter what. :-) -c-

Re: And the Winner is . . .

WOO HOO! Thank you so much for the tips (& stories!). I'd love to see the picture of Rosemary dumpster diving! It's just fun to think when I was a kid I loved to go to the dump with my folks just to pick through all of the cool stuff. LOL And now I'm all grown up with a real reason to go! We don't have a true recycle place up here BUT they used to take news papers and magazines if people wanted to drop them off. I'll have to call them and see if they still do that. They'll probably think I'm nuts or... maybe SOOPER DOOPER SMART!!! LOL Please keep this series going, I'm really enjoying it! As for my little victories, I was able to get $50 worth of P&G products, so I got my rebate form all filled out & off it goes tomorrow for $122 worth of q's for mostly stuff I actually will use! WOO HOO!!! Then the other one is for the Pepsi & Lay's chips offer, something like buy 3 of 1 & 3 of the other to get $15 in q's. DH & I actually got all of the papers together & saw where Cub has a BOGO for the chips and Wally World has the better price on Pepsi's. But it was fun to have something this easy to start with. Pretty soon I'll be a coupon toddler! -c-

Re: New Badges for You!

Oh MAN - the pressure's on to get my blog up & rolling! ;-) -c-

Re: Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy B-Day Mrs. Liz's Mom! :-D

Re: PAD: Turn the Heat ON!

Cool shot although I've been holding my hands up against my screen & can't really feel the heat! I know there is a way out there, I just need to find it! LOL I have 2 BIG grocery stores across the street from each other (about 30 mi 1 way from home) Wall World (Super Walmart) and Cub. We have been sticking with WW because their every day prices are sooooo much lower than Cub. But what started out as a bit of choice limiting is getting to be a real pain in the wazoo! WW had cheaper prices than Cub but less of a selection. I just dealt with this, reminding myself all along that I was saving money. But now WW has gotten to running out of products AND not restocking on any kind of a regular basis! They can yap yap yap about the economy all day long but when you have to fight for a parking spot basically any time from 9 am to 9 pm and the Cub lot across the Hwy can accommodate jumbo jets, something is wrong... OK - sorry for the rabbit trail... Anywho, I'd like to learn about what WW's price matching policy is. I mean if they price match from across the street, why go across the street? Hmmmmmmm could it be that's why they conveniently run out of stuff??? Can't price match what's not on the shelves. I'm going to have to pay closer attention to this and see if there's any kind of correlation. LOL - See I have A LOT to learn! -c-

Re: Sunday Savings: Couponing 101

WOW! I finally got enough time to finish reading your post that I believe I started around 10ish CT. LOL There's a lot of information to digest here. I'm challenged in that I'm pretty rural and don't have the resources readily available like the BIG cities. ;-) BUT I'm going to give this a try. I think one of my problems is that I already buy a lot of the Great Value/Equate (Wally World store brands) items. Most of the time when I tried clipping before, I'd have a .50 coupon for say Hunt's Tomato Paste but I already buy the Great Value with no coupon never on sale price that's .75 cheaper. So I think I need to rethink how to make this work for me. There are name brands I buy just not that many. So... at this point I've opened every single link in your post (boy you packed them in!) and I'm bookmarking them all. Then I'll start really perusing them. TY for your post Eisor [Rosie :-)], keep'em coming! BTW - you need to get on Twitter! We have way too much FUN!!! -c-

Re: A Penny a Load – Homemade Laundry Detergent

Ok - I've done 3 loads using vinegar as a softener and I'd say it works. Out of the wash, clothes smell clean (not like pickles!). Out of the dryer, clothes still smell good, are soft, and best of all no static cling. My DH wears wool socks here in the winter and they have come out nice with out everything stuck together. I believe I will stick with it going forward. One gallon of Great Value Distilled White Vinegar is way cheaper than a small bottle of softener.

Re: 01-09-2009 Photo of the Day

After seeing the original picture in the laundry soap post, this picture definitely has character.
