I don't have a great definitive answer for you. I can tell you, 10 years into my relationship, sex issues don't resolve themselves. If this is a problem now, it will continue to be a problem. I ponder the same issues - Is it acceptable and normal to choose my wonderful husband and life over my vag? Am I an asshole to want even MORE happiness in my ridiculously happy life?

I have no idea, but I wonder the same thing all the time. I tell my single ladyfriends all the time to not wait to have sex with dudes they're dating, though. I think that being in love makes it easy to make excuses for mediocre or lame sex. Having sex sooner, before you're in love, lets you approach the sex with clearer eyes, unclouded by hearts and sparkles, and assess how the actual sex is. If this is the last person you're ever going to have sex with, is that okay? What if the sex never gets better? Is that still okay?

It's a tough question.

i think walruses are pretty fast, aren't they? fast or not, they're scary as shit. they are on my DO NOT WANT TO CUDDLE list, with alligators/crocodiles, deep sea fish and potato bugs.

because buddhism is fucking awesome. i study theravada and it has changed my life. no homo. also, being a real librarian would be fucking awesome, too. i totally thought about that before i dropped out of college.

hope you're not joking because i am totally loving your life for you right now.

re: lisa simpson's sage advice: buddhism will fix you right up. or at least give you something a little more constructive to focus your attention on.

i'm new to tumblr so i don't know how to reblog or whatever, but i will admit that the entire song 'brick house' by the commodores was a mystery to me.

to start...

i didn't realize it was called 'brick house.' so when they sang the 'she's a brick HOUSE' part, i didn't hear that. i heard, 'she's a freak...OW!' it kinda makes sense when you hear it. my brain just filled in the blanks.

also, when they say 'shake it down, shake it down, shake it down now' i thought they were saying 'chicka-BOW-chicka-BOW-chicka-BOWBOW.'

oh and i thought it was about a fat chick, since i didn't ever really listen to the lyrics and misheard what i did listen to.

i am epically bad at song lyric interpreptation, in general.
