Oh man...I laughed when I read this only because I vividly recall how freaked out you were getting on twitter before this performance. We all knew you would be amazing, as usual. :) Thanks for sharing this experience!

P.S. I know exactly what you mean about the vibrate switch. Back in November, I think, I talked to you on the phone after your Hotel Cafe show in Nashville. I doubt you remember haha. But I definitely do. & when I got off the phone, I was so jittery and excited and joyful...it was like being on constant vibrate. So thank you for that special moment. You're simply amazing. :)

This blog really touches my heart...and it's oddly coincidental. My brother's birthday is today, and I miss him soooo much. I wish I could be home to celebrate with him. It must be difficult to be so far away from the ones you love, but what matters is that you keep in touch, right?

I think I'm gonna go call my little brother and wish him a happy birthday. :]

I just read a book called The Art of Being with excerpts from Jon Foreman (Switchfoot) & Paul Meany (Mute Math) & it's some really deep stuff. I remember reading on of the excerpts and it said, "Sometimes you have to lose yourself in order to find yourself."

I know exactly what you're talking about in this blog. It all makes sense to me. But no matter what, this life is completely worth it...good, bad, & everything in between. So whether your down or having the greatest day of your life, remember that you "do it for love" (some wise words from the lovely Sara Bareilles). There's a purpose to everything.

Thanks for a great show today. It really made my Valentine's Day, especially meeting you. :)
