I've had Sprint for 7 years or so now, and haven't had any problems, as long as I kept my baseband radio current--and even if I didn't it was acceptable. Haven't noticed any issues with data speed since the 4s came out, in fact the evdo seems faster. I haven't used my wimax as much as I thought but it, contrary to some commenter, is noticeably faster than evdo. Maybe it's my market (denver) but also considering what you get versus cost it's wonderful. Real unlimited data ftw! My only complaint is more due to the nature of cdma vs gsm, gsm is more consumer friendly tea cdma since a simple sie switch is all you need for a new phone, don't have to mess with the company directly.

Re: 9 Upcoming Tablet Alternatives to the Apple iPad

What's with most of these being just prototypes? But I have thought about it since the release. Many of the complaints, no multitasking, no flash, whatever, are mainly due to iPhone OS 3.2. If you think about it, Apple has thus added features to the OS of the iPhone that people wanted–first the App Store, then Push notifications to name a couple off the top of my head (video came with a hardware change, but still.) I think multitasking will follow. Also, once the hackers and such get to it and jailbreak it, they'll find a way to leverage its relative power. Or maybe someone will manage to get Android or something on it and dual boot. The power is in the hands of the developers now (well, and the App Store Gods)

Re: Mobile OS Faceoff: Apple iPhone vs. Google Android

I'm willing to bet Chrome only lost because of sheer number of users. Same with Google Docs and Windows 7. Market share has that sort of effect.

Re: Team Rick Whit

I love John Stewart.
