I just switched and am getting the 15% military discount so I can confirm that they offer it. Just remember it applies to the data only and not the monthly line access fee.

I highly doubt that. AT&T bought and converted all of AllTel's assets in South Dakota 2 years ago and if what you said were true none of AT&T's handsets would work because AllTel & AT&T's networks are not compatible.

In my mind, GSM is a huge advantage. It gives you the choice of a variety of handsets that will never see the light of day on Verizon's CDMA network.

Heck Cory you have all these streaming services paying higher rates for basically the same content as radio stations have, why not buy a relatively cheap station somewhere in Podunk, USA to save money. I doubt they really care much about providing diversity, just finding a station (they only need one) in the black or close to it that can give them better royalty rates.

I can only speak for one Verizon hater, myself, but the 24 month contract had nothing to do with my switch as you knew in the "monkey see monkey do" world of US cell carriers that AT&T would certainly follow suit.

I left Verizon because of their crappy phone selection and the fact that any phone I bought on Verizon would be nothing more than a boat anchor if I ever decided to leave them whereas my unlocked HTC One will work just about anywhere I should decide to go.

I don't live In Rapid City but live near by and I can tell you South Dakota in general and Western South Dakota in particular is so far right that no election will change this and would in fact re-enforce it. To see the mentality of this area in print, just Google American Clarion and read the dribble coming from my West River neighbors.

It had no effect on passengers nor did it affect any particular airport. The Government mandated that Rapiscan update the unit software so that the images of those being scanned be replaced with generic figures in an attempt to alleviate privacy concerns. The alleged issues occurred during the testing phase before the software was to be installed in the field.

Just don't use too much of your "unlimited data" with Straight Talk. I did the same thing you did and after streaming a bit too much Pandora they informed me via text message that I need to stop using so much data or they would cancel my account. Read the fine print

Funny, I couldn't hold a call to save my life on 2 different Nexi and would be lucky to stay connected to the internet (how does no speed strike ya?) while feeling lucky to see -120dbm of signal strength, but my Rezound averages around -85 and works just fine without any of the aforementioned issues sitting in the exact same location.

Feel free to call it crappy radios or crappy firmware, but one thing it isn't is just an issue with the graphical representation because that isn't the case.

Oh, and I wanted so badly to love the Nexus and am no fan of Moto and their locked bootloaders so your troll comment is meaningless...
