And was before I became an affiliate. Being web savvy and in the industry for years, I know how to make money from the web, and therefore if i'm going to review a commercial service which I like and believe in, why not earn some money?

My apartment that I rented out via OpenRent before publishing this article:

http://www.openrent.co.uk/p...

Re: Lobbying company tried to wipe out 'wife beater' beer references

Why is this even news worthy? I think so many people are wowed by some of the simple techniques of social media in building their networks, businesses and personal lives they're very quick to judge themselves as knowing everything.

Re: Summary of 2009

RIP Youmeo :)

Good luck in 2010 Greg, you and Simon will make Zood AMAZING!

We miss you at Electric Wharf!

Re: [BREAKING NEWS] New government program to support social media “expert” depression

Spot on ;)

Re: YouMEO.com - You and Me Online in Social Networking | Visit

Great writeup here!

Re: New rules for bloggers

This is true, but it's amazing how many companies I speak to who think that fake reviews on their products constitute good social media practise

Re: Facebook and Nielsen to Launch New Product for Brand Advertisers

P.S the WSJ article is down

Re: Facebook and Nielsen to Launch New Product for Brand Advertisers

Are Facebook ads with polls attached to them that great for social media metrics? I mean it's like going back to radio and saying to a few hundred people did you listen to Capital or Radio 1!
I know I haven't seen the product yet, but 'social media' isn't just about creating a Facebook ads - Google could come along and just start distributing ads there straight away and most marketing directors wouldn't be that bothered, that's just pay per click / cpm in a different environment.

Social media is about conversation, who actually conversed with their friends about that product, or even better - conversed with the brand. And I don't just mean posted on their wall, I mean a user who actually got some benefit back from the interaction. This isn't the answer to social media scepticism!

Re: SNEAK PEEK: Twitter’s Upcoming Retweet Feature [Pic]

A natural progression..

Re: Leading a team from the front

Does anyone else have any tips?

Re: Tomorrow’s Web

Good luck Grant!

Re: Greg Cooper - Facebook supports incest!
