That's just speculation...remember allllll the iPhone2,1 "specs" out there? Lots of it was fake. And I think, for iPods, it will just go 1G, 2G, 3G, and so on. No S's or C's or whatever letter Apple wants. Just my opinion.

Does that mean you don't have to get those files from purplera1n with that 16 digit number thing? I don't have a 3G S, but I'm curious.

I think that'd be a rediculous idea...touchscreens need enough "substance" in order to be enjoyed. A little touchscreen wouldn't be worth it, IMHO.

Why would you have a touchscreen and a clickwheel? Personally, I think touchscreen will stay exclusively with iPod touches and iPhones.

If you don't have an iPhone then you should buy the official. Not download. It's not always safe when it comes to software.
