Not Yet

"Snapchat is a great tool for sharing mindless snippets of information with a small group of people that you see all the time." ---- Actually has a major feature for reaching a large group of people. The "my story" feature allows users to follow and be followed by thousands of people. Assuming that this shared content is mindless is pretty patronizing. I personally follow many thoughtleaders on Snapchat. They broadcast bitesized video, and sometimes in series, as is done on Twitter. Tons of grassroots organizations with younger leaders use snapchat to blast messages to their base as well. I'm pretty disappointed by the lack of domain knowledge in this article.

Re: What Social Media Marketers Can Learn From Reddit AMAs (Infographic)

Hey Kate, Not saying that PR firms should use Reddit. This post has a lot of data, yes, but I am suggesting that author also include a little more information for marketers who may not be familiar with Reddit's reputation and image flaws. I know that some businesses/brands would have negative consumer feedback from their core users if they suddenly perceived a partnership or implied endorsement of Reddit by participating in an AMA. Any public action or marketing can have public relations ramifications on a brand. Brand managers and marketers should research any channel before possibly getting wrapped up in that channel's scandals. Maybe Udemy has more info that the author did not include.

Re: Each Facebook User Represented $10.03 in Ad Revenue in 2014

Not to mention, several major ad tools no longer support Twitter APIs

Re: What Social Media Marketers Can Learn From Reddit AMAs (Infographic)

Might want to include some notes about Reddit's userbase, as well as the PR implications of using Reddit after it has been under fire recently. In fact, they're great, regardless of your ability to make them work "for you". The age of being a company man is over. Your workforce is going to have their own reasons for working where they do, and their own reasons for working as hard as they do. If you can't leverage that, you suck at resource management. If you can't motivate your workforce, you're a bad leader. If you can't connect with another generation, maybe your communication style needs to be adjusted.

I'm not accusing the author, and I think he makes great points about how to motivate your workers.

I am tired of the general ageism from experienced professionals who just can't cope with a changing workforce. If you maintain this attitude, you are not going to retain young talent, no matter how many professional blogs you read.

For every complaint about "spoiled" millennials, there is a silent tweet about a boss who can't figure out how to open their email attachment.

---
This article is extremely important for digital marketers to absorb. They can't afford to be as fossilized as many other industries.

Re: Mythbusters: Debunking the Biggest Data Myths

Ethical is in the dictionary.
Only unethical people need it clarified.

Re: Facebook Gives Advertisers More Information on Conversion Pixels - AllFacebook

Every conversion.

Re: Facebook Gives Advertisers More Information on Conversion Pixels - AllFacebook

Able to see the last 7 pixel fires...
