I assume the book version (as opposed to the movie version) of The Secret of Roan Inish came before The Seal Children. Secret is more of a novel, I think...right? Anyhoo - they are all based on old, old, old irish/scottish/icelandic folklore. Love it!!

Aw, thanks for the interest!! I've started an Etsy page but haven't listed anything yet bc it takes a good month to make. I'm working on a blanket for my mom for xmas and as soon as that is finished I'm going to work on stuff to list. Hopefully I'm going to make some xmas themed place mats (I found some great colors that I'm really excited about) that will be faster to make. I wish I could make my fingers move faster!! I'll def pimp myself out as soon as I list anything. :)
