Still not mobile friendly. It's a pity. It would be way more useful to be able to edit on the go. A lot of merchants display theirs open hours IRL. Today I must snap a picture to remember the info and wait to be on my desktop computer to add it on foursquare. Too much friction!

Aside pre-loading the app on phones (like on the Nokia Lumia), definitely their smartest business development move to date. I bet it will drive user adoption and revenue up. Maybe more importantly, I also think that - if they play their PR cards well -, it's a unique opportunity to kill once and for all the 2009/10-old "foursquare = checkin + badges" and engrave in everybody's mind that now "foursquare = discovery + SAVING MONEY"

A website, well okay the PR attempt is obvious but smart nonetheless... But a website whose design is not mobile-friendly ? Why, oh why ?

Great but still way too US centric. In France, only ESPN (soccer games) and Songkick (concerts) provide events in venues. Still no movie info for example.

Great news. Happy to see 4sq embrace lists to the fullest extent and make the best of it, aka more awesome/meta lists. Since 2011, list completion has been a driving force in my 4sq usage and a huge motivator to enjoy my city in a smarter way.

Il n'est pas distribué en dehors des États-Unis / Canada. Je l'ai commandé sur fitbit.com et l'ai fait livrer à un ami habitant à Los Angeles qui me l'a rapporté en revenant à Paris pour les fêtes de fin d'année. Ça faisait plus de 3 ans que j'attendais de pouvoir mettre la main dessus !
