even if it existed, YouTube's been pulling a lot of copyright-infringing yet harmless mashup videos lately. last week I uploaded the Air Wolf intro theme set to Adventure's "Ultra Zone" and it was claimed/removed in like 3 hours thanks to their new identification systems. But that's what Vimeo's for! (You can see said Air Wolf clip on my site if you like.)

my tape recorder had two decks, so when "Can't Touch This" came on the radio I recorded it, then dubbed it onto a blank tape in deck two, hit rewind, dubbed it again, etc. Nonstop "Can't Touch This" until somebody, anybody, screamed!

Think I also did this for Bangles' cover of "Hazy Shade of Winter" (of course I didn't know it was a cover) and Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" in the hopes of memorizing all the words, but no dice.

oh but for some people it is still 14 years ago. maybe you saw the official, ahem, Oasis press release a few weeks back which included this gem:
