I knew/hoped he would. Tomorrow's post will show you a peek of his new Yahoo Store.

I have decided to nickname my blog, Poochie, as it's cute and rhymes with Richie. Saturday, Poochie is going for a walk and just may need to pay a visit to a fire hydrant. Stay tuned.

Re: eMarketing examples by request

The pop-up windows now work like a charm-er. Thanks Ajay.

Re: eMarketing examples by request

When I first made this post yesterday, it was simply awful. The WordPress defaults had all the images and text stacked which meant you had to scroll down to the center of the earth to see the four images. Also, for some curious reason, WordPress resized the images using 300px vertical for the height. Since the images are different widths, this looked really goofy. I want the widths to be the same so they neatly stack. The beauty is that you can override the CCS by creating an inline-based template in your favorite web program (mine is Expression Web 2) and then copy and paste into your post, and customize the test and image links as necessary. My next step will be to make it so you can click on an image and have it open in a new window that exactly fits a larger image for easy reading.

Re: Email marketing, part two: Develop Your List

Response to Ben:

Sure, networking through the internet is a heckuva lot more fun than glad handing some sweaty palm at a breakfast meeting. /smile/

~richie

Re: Email marketing, part two: Develop Your List

Response to Dan:

I bought a template from templatemonster.com then began the arduous task of customizing it for myself. The process is a boatload (that's a lot) of work. It's hard to make a design work when the structure doesn't work ... but I figured it out ... lot's of code to modify and it's a guessing game as to where to look for the right answers. I'm open for new business.

~richie

Re: Email marketing, part one: Where to Begin?

Thank you, Wade.

I am pleased to provide the design of email content to my marketing customers, companies who may choose to use another service for the implementation of the email design, or companies who provide service to others. I am ethical and discreet.

~richie rich

Re: Welcome to my new web site!

Hey Tobes,

Thanks for the comments and the suggestion. I think the page heading looks a lot better.

Toby has been a friend, client and design associate of mine for around 10 years. We have collaborated on dozens of projects together and he took my little running "R" and helped brand it into something special. My web page heading was created from elements which he designed a couple of years ago.

I'm the most picky client anyone could ever have and it's very hard for me to find something that I like well enough to stick with. Toby hit a home run for me.

~richie
