How is it that amnesia is so prevalent in the opposing parties to Obama? I agree,that spending was not the way to go to try and save the economy. But, don't forget how we got into this mess. The bush administration continued to kick the can down the road and bailed out most of the banks that failed. Obama fell right in step with what dubya was doing and now it's,"All Obamas Fault"! What you silly imbeciles continue to Fail to understand IS, the top 2% of income earners in this Country do not pay the same tax percentage rate as the rest of the tax paying Country does. It is far LESS. They can do this by promising to create jobs in America, but they do not. They continue to send jobs abroad. In essence, more in fact, Us tax payers are subsidizing the exportation of American jobs.
Anothermarshall, your argument is against you. When you say the top 2% pay more in taxes than anyone else you are right. But, you are just proving how rich they are!
Let's just say that You tithe 10% of a dollar. Thats 10 cents. And your rich friend tithes 10% of a hundred dollars. Thats 10 dollars. But your rich friend actually only tithed one dollar. Well, thats a lot more than you tithed! BUT, not the same percentage rate.

Now, on the issue of socialism. If you go too far left you end up with Socialism. Go too far right you end up with Fascism. Neither are worse than the other. Right now we are leaning way far to the right. Heading for corporate tyranny which then will become Fascism! Do you get it Now? Who are you going to blame?

Remember. The conservative majority Supreme Court ruled that corporations are people too. Corporations ARE buying candidates, and running, and ruining, Our Country.

The fact is, the top 1 and 2% do not pay the same tax rate as everybody else in this country who pay taxes!
Those that do not pay Any taxes are those without jobs and the churches!(for a few examples) And, other tax exempt organizations that rely on public handouts, yet pay their CEO's mega bucks.
It is My belief that if you pay a preacher and or have a paid secretary or administrator, you are no longer a church, but, instead a business. Of, course, you won't hear any politicians going after the tax exempt organizations or churches.
Yes, I do believe in donation based charities as long as all the money goes to the true cause and not some jet set "preacher" or CEO that doesn't pay Any taxes!
