A quick question: so you've been in Korea for about 2 years. How many times were you approached by Korean guy(s) when you were either alone or with other western girls (exclude being mistaken as Russian)?
One more :) how nice do you think/believe American girls are in Korea toward Korean people/culture/etc?
Do you teach adults or kids? Actually after I started writing things here, I emailed my ex (she is Canadian) to talk about a few things and I found out that she is getting married to one of her students in Korea. (we met each other 5 years ago. How we met each other .... a Looooooong story) She says that she totally understands you but you are not alone in Korea. She also says that it is not the end of the world and points out that teaching adults may get you more opportunities/chances for social activities, for instance, students invite you to their movie night out, birthday parties, etc. Surprisingly she told me that despite having blond hair and blue eyes she has not been mistaken as Russian as often as she's been hearing from others. It seems like you are quite angry/exhausted/anxious/frustrated.... I hope all things that I've been writing may help you feel better :)

Ok with your permission.... why is it that there are always asian girls checking things over the shoulder that happen b/t asian guys and white girls? On the other hand, have you seen any asian guy & white girl who care much about white dudes with asian chicks? Don't get me wrong, I have seen many nice asian girls. What would you do if one of your asian guy friends starts seeing a white girl?

Hello Ameri girl! First, my warm greeting to you all the way from the US. How is Korea? Is Korea as messy as the US? Second, I have seen the T-shirts before. Actually it is not even translated correctly. I'm not sure whether the T-shirt maker (I hope they at least pay tax to the korean government. Most foreigners running business in korea don't pay taxes. And that really bothers me) didn't translate it right on purpose or their korean was far too short to do it right. Third, I'd like to talk about why I care about Russian women in Korea and Japan. Let me just get to the point. Many Russian women in Korea/Japan do escorts for money and they need money (everyone needs money) to live. They live in Korea/Japan to find husband. This is what makes the difference to me. They don't care how much money they earn each night. I completely understand how other Caucasian women in Korea feel about this. Anyways, 4 buddies of mine in Korea married to Russian girls. (of course they were not entertainers. They were college students and that was how they met) Actually, 2 are from Russia, one from Estonia, and the other is from Romania. So I think there are some factors other than you mentioned above about the way Korean guys think about American women. Hey, I love American girls :)

ok so what is your point? One thing I like to comment on yours is that you never forget you are asian, you want to forget you are asian and want to look like white girl, delicate, blond, blue eyes, tall, glamour etc.
Would you mind if I tell you why I don't date asian girls?

Hello jiayue! You seem you are a very intelligent and sweet girl. If your Korean boyfriend chooses his parents over you, he will be sorry for the rest of his life. If he does, both his parents and he are the ones who can not see beyond the end of their nose and you surely deserve much better man (much better Korean man :)

Hey, Christin.. I understand your point but that is not always true. I have seen that some white girls break up with their Korean boyfriends because they are not willing to/don't try to learn English. I have, however, never seen any Russian girl breaking up with her korean boyfriend who do not try to learn Russian. Why is that? And Christin, you did not mention anything about that how much white girls are willing to hang out and spend time with Korean guys who don't speak any English. Have you ever seen any white dude that does not want to go out with Korean girl because she does not speak English? Trust me, Christin, on this: #1 reason is language. Korean guys feel pressure about speak English... as long as you, I mean you white girls, do not relieve this pressure cap from Korean guys, this is never going to change. #2 is how many of you, white girls in Korea, are willing to date Korean guy? and tell me how many of you live in Korea or Japan for money?

Hello Jiajue! You are right about Korean parents who stuck in Germany. My parents never said anything to me about dating white girl. Now I'm at the age of thinking about marriage and having a family. And I'm sure that she will be Caucasian. I hope it will cheer you up a bit.

Hello American girl in Korea! I'm korean but I have dated only white girls for the past 10 years. I love white girls but one thing that I really like to say is that you are one of the few white girls who are nice enough to accept the differences. And I'm sure you know some white girls' attitude toward other races. Think about this, for example, Korean male students went to the US to study and then had bad experiences about american girls like what I mentioned above. Then they go back to Korea and tell their friends what exactly happened to them. I hear so many bad things about white girls from Korean guys who even live in CA. As you know, there are so many Koreans in CA. I have been a guy telling other Korean guys from CA all good things about white girls and to encourage them to at least approach and talk to white girls. Now they kinna believe me. Why? because I was dating a 6 foot tall american girl (but I'm not that tall). I, however, completely understand how you feel. I wish I was there to educate and correct all Korean guy in Korea but it will take time. But I have a question. Why do Korea guys in Korea feel comfortable approaching Russian girls and uncomfortable toward other white girls? I think it is about speaking English. When Korean girls hang out with white guys, Korean girls think they can get free English lessons and have fun but this is not the case b/t Korean guys and white girls. You would not spend even a minute with Korean guys who do not know English, would you? So I think that when they approach Russian girls, they expect Russian girls to Know Korean.
