I understand your exhaustion of dealing with the brick walls but I can't tell you how much I've appreciated all your articles and wisdom throughout the years. They always seem to hit home. Another of the great things about your writings being on the internet is that once you put them out there, they're there forever -- in YOUR original words (unlike that holey buybull)! :-)

Remember when we had to cover our textbooks in school? Maybe make a cover that says "The Big Book of Jewish Fairy Tales" and as others have said, shelf it with mythologies, fairy tales, and works of fiction. Seriously though, I love your response -- it's spot on.

I agree with DanForsman about the words of Jesus. Our webmaster has provided a collection of Bible Contradictions and Problems. On side 2 of the handy wallet-size pdf document are sections "Jesus on a Good Day" and "Jesus on a Bad Day". Here's "Jesus on a Bad Day":

It is absolutely true that many groups around the globe have been cruelly treated. Your post gives the impression that you believe the Palestinians should give up their homes to the Jews.

To anyone who believes that, the implication of this image is that they would willingly give up their home for which they are legally entitled because another group lived on that land before they did. I see that happening about as much as I see christians following the "sell all you have and follow me" admonition.

To further address the accusations of "shutting down the discussion & debate with an actual PhD in philosophy" if either Dennis or Jim had bothered to read the disclaimer, they would have also seen the next paragraph:

That reminds me of Mr Buffettphan. He attended a seminar and one of the topics was on sociopaths. One sign of a sociopath is that they frequently quote others - famous writers, actors, books, movies, people throughout history, etc. I said, "Oh, like quoting the bible all the time?"
