Two specific issues: Episodes aren't listed in order, browsing categories results in very jumbled results
3) Flash video from online sites seems to work only about 50% of the time. So it's self-enforcing in a way that the flexibility of XML is not.

I agree it'd be really nice if all API vendors provided the maximal choice for their consumers. But I also know that maintaining multiple formats takes effort. So if there's a tiny market for XML (when JSON's available), it's probably just not worth it to them to serve a handful of people in obscure environments.

Re: How to (really) turn off Mac screen? VOIP just can't compete with POTS. At work we tried going VOIP and had to reverse course after a year & tons of dropped calls w/ frequent bad sound quality. We still use all our SIP phones (snoms) connected to an asterisk box which has cards in it which just connect it to the regular phone lines. Not a single dropped call in the last year that I know of & the quality is always constant. We also pay just a little more than we used to with our top-tier sip provider.

When setting up the asterisk box (a trixbox appliance) it gives you this message if you try to add a sip provider. Exactly our experience: http://stream.btucker.org/p...

Re: peace out, bad weather!

For the record, that was Anna hijacking my account. So even if you were to incorrectly assume that the HD channel was all the HD videos on vimeo, the number would be 712.

I'd suggest dropping Vimeo an email. I bet they'd give you the true number of HD videos users have uploaded there.

Re: Actual Conversations On Twitter Not Possible Until Twitter Lets Us

Rudolf, I do intend to release the Quotably code one of these days (honestly, though, it's not like it's a whole lot of special code and it's mostly useless now due to the limitations imposed by Twitter).
