I watched the movie and i quite liked it. Obviously it is not a true masterpiece but it wasn't bad because of that.

Skykid mentioned something about the whole Hesher moving in with TJ being unrealistic. Sure, a bit maybe. But in general i think it could happen if you live the exact same circumstances as TJ did and meet someone like Hesher - even if it is VERY unlikely.

All in all it was splendid and of course a bit unconventional, but i like that.

I listened to the audiobook a while a go and must say that i liked it a lot, so i am very excited to see this movie.

I had the honour of watching Ulrik perform live this summer and he is a very talented artist i must say. He is really professional and it is very clear that he takes it seriously. I will certainly buy his album from iTunes to support him.

I stumled upon Ronans youtube-video just yesterday actually and i was really amazed.

It shall certainly be interesting to follow the Britain's got talent show and see how it goes for him there, even if he doesn't win i am pretty sure that some record company etc will make sure that he'll get the publicity that he deserves.

Tycker det här låter helt lysande. Nuförtiden är det ju så poppis med en massa trams-sidor som endast är till för att tjäna pengar på. Hellre att detta isåfall tvingar fram lite mer kvalitet.

This movie was really moving and i must say that i think that it has become one of my favourite movies. It really captured me during the whole movie and i was on edges at all time.

The acting of Robert Naylor was really good aswell, in fact... he might just have become one of my favourite current actor. His acting was really superb and i really really really believed his character. Usually with bad or "nothing special" actors you can easily spot notice that they're not into it etc. But not this time.

I really hope to see many more movies with Robert Naylor in the future and i also recommend EVERYONE to watch this movie.

It was very well written and i must say that i really did enjoy the movie myself. I watched it back in 2008 (i think) and has seen it at least twice more since then.

The movie itself was simple but very good mixed with a bit of humour and a bit of drama.

I hope to read more of your reviews in the future :)

Yes, i agree. That cotton candy touch can really destroy movies sometimes. And since you read the book(?) i understand that you expected something completely different and got a bit dissapointed. I think i would be just as disappointed if i would have read the book before watching the movie.

I watched the film too not long ago and i must say that i quite liked it and since i have not read the book i had nothing to compare it with. The movie was good, at least when you cant compare it with the book. It was however not a masterpiece and had it's flaws.

You are also right that it was quite disney-like at times and sometimes it's good and sometimes bad.

Hmm, the plot for this movie sounds a lot like the one for "bad news bears" - just another sport. Baseball vs football.

Interesting review. I watched this movie a couple of days ago and i quite liked it, even if sports does not interest me at all. You are right in the point that it was not as good as Buitenspel, but good enough to keep me interested for the whole movie.

I have been in doubt about watching this movie for a long time now, maybe because i was judging the book by its cover. However, i have now watched the movie and i must say that it was quite peculiar and odd but good and interesting. It was interesting to watch and see a bit of how the "old times" of Bulgarian village-life looked like, hear folk music (which i kind of like). The folk music reminded me a bit about music from the balcan-countries(ex-yugoslavian countries) which i like a lot.

Over all it was a good movie even if it was a bit too abstract as you stated yourself.

Upon reading your review i decided to watch this movie which i have done now.
My ipression of if that it was good, but absolutely nothing more than that. It somehow failed to _really_ capture me and when it was over i was thinking something in the ways of "yeah, it was good but thank god its over"

I watched this movie a couple of months ago and just like you i got a very good impression from it. Just like you i was very angry about the ignorance shown by... everyone but well, thats religion for you. Of course this kind of ignorance could be about anything from anyone...

Just like you i found the ending very sad and i must confess that my eyes were'nt exactly dry at that moment.

Very interesting article.

This might not be exactly my type of music but i do find them to be very good and it is very noticeable that they have been around for quite some time now. At least it looks to me that they have some kind of routine of doing this, managers, trainers etc that knows exactly what they are doing.

As the other people here i have not heard about them at all earlier, but i do hope that they will continue and get even better.

Congratulations Skykid! I hope that you will have a lovely birthday on that fair.
When i was younger i used to spend my birthdays at a fair too, i remember my happiness on my... i think it was 12th birthday when i was long enough to ride the biggest rollercoaster! That was a special feeling, because every year i have been wanting to ride it but always been to short and FINALY.

Lovely choice of birthday song by the way! The crocodile gena song is very good, we used to watch the series here too, dubbed of course, but i prefer the version by S. Paramonov of course :P

Your review of this TV-series was very interesting and well-written. I watched this series a couple of months ago when i was home being sick and i absolutely loved it, i started with episode 1 in the morning and by the end of the afternoon i had watched them all.

The portrayal of friendship in this series was absolutely wonderful, no matter what they went through... they were still friends in the end.
