Seems like a repeat of iPhone jail breaking, where each new iOS update would break the existing version. I paid for the Oculus app in the Home store (The Climb), now that purchase is worthless. Can I get my money back?

Have been using this app at Mountain View Castro Starbucks for over a year (trial site). Works great! Wish more merchants would adopt this. Of course, getting an NFC based solution would be tops, even though the bar code scan is quite smooth as it is.

With the very crisp resolution of the latest SlingPlayer on my iPad (3G, Wifi) I don't see how I would need any direct service. Having a full DVR on the other end (by way of SlingBox) beats services like e.g. MobiTV (which I tried for a while). I still want to be able to skip over commercials ... ;)

I tried it out just now and saw the update on the Friendfeed realtime feed (need a bit help with ctrl-R) after around 20 seconds (http://is.gd/gNXV). Excellent! Good job.
