Thank You Laffy for explaining the obvious...people were tortured in Guantanamo. There are witnesses including military and interrogators that have been found guilty for abusing detainees. I'm sure some areas of Gitmo were calmer then others. The scars and deaths can only be called torture. We know the monsters that okayed this abuse...we learn more each day about their sick actions. To deny truth is to be an enemy of your own logic and a mountain in front of intellectual growth. I will stand in shame until the innocent are free, I am an American, I am not denying the truth and I am not comforting myself by disbelief in the sad facts.

There can be no fairness when things are hidden. We all know Bush and company errored in the entire Guantanamo situation. No one knows what the revised tribunals will be like, but you can bet the cards are stacked against real justice for guilty verdicts...look who is dealing the cards... (those that have a vested interest not a neutral party). Ain't that America?..NO

I must find out if there is a stature of limitations to charge for war crimes. I hope the next big Obama push will be to empty offices of the Bush left-overs. I believe they do a lot of under-cover propaganda. Obama has to see it by now. If he doesn't...he's been willingly blinded.

Sounds like Mr Jason should offer his name and tell us how badly this KID was beaten. Guess they have to get him anyway they can. I don't believe anything without proof. How many cases has the DOJ lost now?

The Department of Justice is now the Department of Injustice? Get a grip fokes, we could all be in danger of getting thrown in jail with this new type of prosecution. Federal Courts can handle these things. Maintaining human rights is essential to our freedoms. If he was tortured into a confession we are wrong, regardless. My family supports and is in the military. My family supports the constitution and the Geneva Convention.
