A job might be nice. But at least something. Thoughts?

Re: Forbes Says Retire Here, Nashville Not For Singles [Mixed Reviews]

I was happy to see Pittsburg on the 'singles' list. I'd suggest that it should be top of the 'smoking single's' list...one of the best places to inhale smoke without having to light up a cigar/cigarette.

Re: Two Much?

It is a lot of money. There is good news. A major chunk of the technical infrastructure required to a support a media event of this magnitude will remain on campus after the debate.

I might suggest that $2.6 million for a 30 second TV ad on Super Bowl Sunday is a lot to spend. So what are a couple of hours of intenational network broadcast from Belmont University (with the debate and morning shows and periodic network 'live' shots, etc.) worth? For Belmont University, Nashville, and the State of Tennessee, I'd argue that it is worth a lot more.

The way things are going right now, I'd be more concerned with how clean the political parties are going to campaign more so than how clean the bathrooms are on Belmont's campus. At least for now, there is no lipstick on the Belmont Bruin.
