Ewww, I hate the Olive Garden (and this is said with love, since one of my closest friends' mothers is the vice president of marketing at the Olive Garden's corporate office in Florida). Philadelphia has a huge area called the Italian Market with a lot of wonderful Italian restaurants, yet over the course of my senior year, THREE of my friends chose to celebrate their birthdays at the Olive Garden in Center City. I've never had more than a mediocre meal at an Olive Garden.

I'm sitting like two blocks from the Olive Garden in Times Square right now, and I can never understand why they always have such a huge line, besides the fact that it's a little cheaper than homemade Italian food.

It doesn't matter HOW you know someone, it's just good to have someone to confide in. I was telling a friend of mine about how the mess isn't even about the band anymore, how it's mostly just a place where most of us go to bitch and whine about our lives, or talk about something inconsequential or good that no one else would really care about. She didn't find it weird at all, and in fact said that she wished that she had something as cool as that, a tight knit community, even if it was on the internet.

Though I do entirely agree with you about internet addiction. I've been addicted since we first got a computer in like 1995/1996 and we signed up for AOL. I went to Mexico for a week during my junior year of college and a few of my friends brought their laptops to go to an internet cafe, and I wouldn't let myself go near a computer until I was back in the country. I went through such withdrawal that when I got back, I just sucked it up and admitted that I was addicted.

DUH THE CORRECT ANSWER IS FLY TO NEW YORK AND SEE EQUUS WITH ME.

Actually Equus was across the street from gypsy and i had to walk through hundreds of people waiting for danrad to get out of the theatre and then he walked out and they all screamed. I saw him for like a fraction of a second and decided it was more important to run and make my bus than to try and see him for longer if i'm seeing the play next week, haha.
